What does a score of 110 in the JEE Main exam mean? Is it sufficient for admission to a top NIT and a reputable engineering branch? Additionally, what will the JEE Main 2026 percentile be for 110 marks? Find the answers below.
110 marks in the JEE Main Percentile 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announces the exam result in percentile score. After appearing in the exam, students have doubts about their percentile scores compared to their marks. Candidates can easily know their expected percentile score using JEE Main marks vs percentile converter.
NTA uses a formula to convert the raw marks of the candidates into a percentile score, and the same is provided on this page. Based on the percentile marks, JEE Main ranks are decided. Therefore, the candidates must understand how the NTA calculates JEE Main percentile. Candidates who expect to score 110 marks out of 300 in the JEE Mains exam can check here what their expected JEE Main 2026 percentile will be.

As per the table above, it can be said that
- 110 marks in JEE Mains 2026 percentile can be around 96 to 97 percentile.
Important points to note here:
- Do not form any conclusion based on the previous years' marks vs ranks data of the exam.
- Candidates should always try to score high in JEE Main 2026 to get a top NIT and the course of their choice.
- Students should note that this is just an estimation. JEE Mains percentile marks depend on factors such as the highest candidate score, the number of candidates, exam shifts, and difficulty level.

The percentile in JEE Mains exam is also called NTA score. Check how NTA calculates JEE Main percentile below:
Calculation of raw score
- Total raw marks out of 300 are calculated for candidates in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.
- The raw score is determined using the marking scheme: +4 for each correct answer, 0 for unattempted questions, and -1 for each wrong answer.
Raw score converted to percentile score
- Once the raw scores are calculated, NTA converts the raw scores of all three subjects and the total raw score into a percentile using the formula below:
Final percentile:
With the results of JEE Main session 2, NTA releases the final percentile and ranks of the candidates. The final percentile is the best score of the candidates out of both the January and April exam attempts. However, keep in mind that NTA will not release the raw scores with the JEE Main result 2026, only the percentile marks in all three subjects and in aggregate will be available.
