How To Calculate Scores By Using JEE Main 2025 Answer Key
Candidates can check below the steps to calculate the probable scores by using the JEE Main 2025 answer key.
- Download the answer key of JEE Main 2025.
- The correct answers need to be compared to the responses of the candidates in the exam.
- The official marking scheme according to the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern has to be followed.
- The total calculated marks will be the obtained marks in the examination.
Note: Calculated scores will be indicative. NTA will convert the raw score to percentile scores for the All India Rank, cutoff and final marks.
JEE Main 2025 marking scheme: Add 4 marks for each correct answer and deduct 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
Commonly asked questions
There are two question types in JEE Main exam. Multiple choice questions and numerical ability questions. In MCQ, every question has 4 options with only 1 correct answer. Select the correct option. In numerical ability question type, no options are there. Solve them and write answer using keyword and mouse.
Paper 1 has 75 questions where Physics Chemistry and Mathematics, each section has 25 questions. Out of 25 questions, 20 are MCQs and five are numerical value questions. You must answer all 5 numerical value-type questions. All 20 multiple-choice questions are compulsory. Complete all 75 questions in 3 hours.

JEE Main 2025 Cutoff
JEE Main 2025 cutoff will consist of the minimum marks required to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025. The authorities will consider various factors of JEE Main 2025 while preparing the JEE Main cutoff 2025. It is to be noted that the cutoff will vary as per the categories. the candidates who wish to take admission in the BArch course offered by the IITs, to qualify JEE Advanced and also the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).
