How To Calculate Scores By Using JEE Main 2025 Answer Key
Candidates can check below the steps to calculate the probable scores by using the JEE Main 2025 answer key.
- Download the answer key of JEE Main 2025.
- The correct answers need to be compared to the responses of the candidates in the exam.
- The official marking scheme according to the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern has to be followed.
- The total calculated marks will be the obtained marks in the examination.
Note: Calculated scores will be indicative. NTA will convert the raw score to percentile scores for the All India Rank, cutoff and final marks.
JEE Main 2025 marking scheme: Add 4 marks for each correct answer and deduct 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
Commonly asked questions
There are two question types in JEE Main exam. Multiple choice questions and numerical ability questions. In MCQ, every question has 4 options with only 1 correct answer. Select the correct option. In numerical ability question type, no options are there. Solve them and write answer using keyword and mouse.
Paper 1 has 75 questions where Physics Chemistry and Mathematics, each section has 25 questions. Out of 25 questions, 20 are MCQs and five are numerical value questions. You must answer all 5 numerical value-type questions. All 20 multiple-choice questions are compulsory. Complete all 75 questions in 3 hours.
