Steps to Download the JEE Main 2026 Jan 28 Admit Card

Candidates must follow these steps to download the JEE Main 2026 Admit Card. The JEE Main Hall Ticket is released on the official website. 

  • Candidates must visit the official NTA JEE Main portal, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on the "Candidate Activity" link on the homepage. 
  • Click on the JEE Main 2026 January 28 Admit Card Link.
  • Candidates can login either by entering,
  • Application Number and Password.
  • Application Number and Date of Birth.
  • Fill in Application Number, Password/Date of Birth, and Security Pin (CAPTCHA) displayed on the screen.
  • After logging in, the hall ticket will be displayed on the screen.
  • Click "Download Admit Card" button and take print of the admit card.

Documents To Carry Along with JEE Main 2026 Admit Card

On the day of JEE Main 2026 exam, candidates have to carry the printed copy of the admit card along with the following:

  • One passport-size photo

Things to do After Downloading JEE Main 2026 January 28 Admit Card

Candidates must do the following things without fail after downloading the hall ticket. 

  • Check all the details on the JEE Main Admit Card 2026. If they find any error on the admit card, they must contact the NTA helpline immediately at 011-40759000 or email jeemain-nta@gov.in.
  • Paste a recent passport-size colour photograph in the designated space (it must be the same one used during registration).
  • Fix the left-hand thumb impression in the specified box before reaching the centre.
  • Candidates must not sign the hall ticket beforehand; they must sign only in the presence of an invigilator at the exam hall.

JEE Main 2026 Self Declaration Form

The JEE Main self-declaration form is a mandatory document that candidates must submit on exam day. Without the form, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. The JEE Main self-declaration form is a document issued by National Testing Agency (NTA) in which the candidates declare the following.

  • Candidates are appearing for the exam as per NTA guidelines.
  • They will follow all the exam day guidelines.
  • They are not suffering from any contagious illness.
  • All information provided by candidate is correct.

JEE Main 2026 Jan 28 Admit Card Exam Day Guidelines

The JEE Main 2026 is conducted by the NTA for admission into programmes BE/BTech and Architecture courses. Candidates must follow the exam guidelines issued to NTA on the day of the exam.

  • Candidates must reach the exam centre well before the reporting time.
  • Candidates must take the printed JEE Main Admit Card 2026 with a valid ID proof, passport-size photograph, pen, self-declaration form and PwD certificate (if required).
  • Candidates must wear a simple and comfortable dress.
  • Candidates have to undergo a biometric verification.
  • Follow the instructions from the invigilators inside the exam hall.
  • Candidates cannot leave the hall before exam concludes.
  • Rough paper will be provided by the exam authorities.
  • Do not carry mobile phone, smartwatches and other electronic gadgets to the exam hall.
