JEE Main 27 August 2021 Live Updates: The NTA has successfully conducted the day 2 of JEE Main 2021 session 4 exam. Memory based JEE Mains 27 August shift 2 paper as well as JEE Mains 27 August shift 2 paper is available below. The second shift exam was delayed in a few centres due to server problem. The first shift was held from 09:00 am to 12 noon while the second shift was conducted from 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm (03:45 to 06:45 at some centres).

JEE Main Today Paper Analysis - 27 August 2021 Shift 2
As per initial reaction from students who appeared in JEE Main 27 August 2021 shift 2 paper, the overall difficulty level of paper was moderate with Mathematics easier in comparison to other shifts of session 4 exam. Chemistry was as usual reported easiest among all three subjects while Physics was moderate. It was reported that the exam started late in a few centres due to problem in server. - Chemistry: Chemistry part was easiest of all three sections. Most questions ere from Organic Chemistry. Questions were asked from topics such as chemistry in everyday life, polymers, etc. Questions came mostly from organic chemistry.
- Physics: This subject was moderate in difficulty level. Magnetism and Mechanics questions were asked. Questions asked from topics like modern physics, electrostatic, energy, wavelength, semiconductor etc.
- Mathematics: Most students found Mathematics tough. This section was time-consuming and lengthy. There were many questions from Algebra. Some of the topics were Mathematical Reasoning, Statistics, 3D, parabola, hyperbola, coordinates, etc.

JEE Main Today Paper Analysis - 27 August 2021 Shift 1
As per initial reaction from students who appeared in the shift 1 exam, the overall difficulty level of paper was moderate. Physics was easy in comparison to yesterday paper and was moderate to easy. Chemistry section was easy while Mathematics was moderate with lengthy calculations. Questions in Mathematics were asked from Vector, 3D and Coordinates. In Physics, there were questions from Electrostatistics and Thermodynamics while Organic and Inorganic, Majorily NCERT based was asked in Chemistry. Chemistry- The paper was by and large based on NCERT books. Six of the numerical based questions were from Physical Chemistry and two from inorganic Chemistry. Overall, the questions from Physical, Organic and Inorganic branches were evenly distributed. A thorough study of the NCERT books, solving NCERT examples and mock tests based on NCERT is the guarantee of success in these types of tests.
Physics- According to a sizeable number of students, Physics part was moderately difficult of the lot. 5 to 6 questions from Electromagnetics about 8 questions from mechanics, 2 from units and dimensions ,4 questions from optics were there in the paper. Other chapters were also included in due proportions. There were a good number of numerical which were largely formula based. Solving a good number of mock tests would prove to be a better strategy.
Mathematics- Mathematics paper was easy but slightly time taking due to lengthy calculations involved. A few good questions were interspersed sporadically. 7 Questions were asked from Calculus, 5 questions from Coordinate Geometry, 4 from Vectors & 3D and not less than 5 questions from Algebra were there. Almost all the topics were covered. Again, practice through mock tests holds the key.
Overall, it was a balanced paper which can be solved in the stipulated time. The difficulty level wise order is Mathematics > Physics> Chemistry.

Ajay: Chemistry section was difficult and numerical questions were lengthy, Maths part was lengthiest.
Anjum: Questions from Electromagnetism in Physics were a bit confusing. In Mathematics, coordinate geometry portion was difficult. Overall the paper was moderate.
A few other students who have appeared have called the paper moderate to difficult. Many students found the Chemistry portion toughest for today’s morning slot.

JEE Main 2021 Exam Day Instructions
The NTA is conducting JEE Main 2021 session 4 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Strict measures have been implemented by NTA at all the exam centres as per the guidelines. Students are advised to to follow the below mentioned instructions at the JEE Main exam centre

Candidates need to bring their own geometry box, pencil, eraser and other required items for drawing part of JEE Main 2021 Paper 2A.

Candidates should report to the exam centre only as per the reporting time mentioned in their JEE Main Admit card 2021

Candidates should avoid social gathering at the exam centre and maintain a distance of 6-feet with each other all the time
