JEE Mains 2026 Registration Last Date Session 2: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon start the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 registration process. The expected JEE Main 2026 registration start date is last week of January 2026, and authorities will also announce JEE Main registration last date session 2. JEE Mains 2026 Registration Last Date Session 2

The NTA will soon activate JEE Mains 2026 session 2 registration link for April exam schedule. JEE April 2026 exam dates have been announced, and will be held from April 2 to 9 in two shifts. As per the sources, the JEE Main application form 2026 for session 2 will start in the last week of January 2026. 

Candidates meeting JEE Main eligibility criteria must keep all their documents ready before April 2026 registration begins. 

Current Update: 

  • JEE Main 2026 session 1 has started. The exam is scheduled for Jan 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29. 
  • Candidates appearing must carry their JEE Main admit card 2026 and follow the exam day guidelines issued by NTA.

JEE Mains 2026 Registration Process: For First-Time Applicants

First-time applicants are basically those who did not appear for the January session or those who have just been on the list of meeting JEE Main eligibility criteria. Candidates can check the process below on how to register for JEE Mains 2026 (April session) below -

To register for the JEE Main 2026 session 2 exam, candidates need to keep the following details ready-

  • Name
  • Father’s Name
  • Mother’s name
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Address details
  • Contact details - email ID and mobile number (which is active)
  • Password (as per the guidelines issued)

Email ID and Mobile Number Verification

Once all details are submitted, an OTP (one-time password) will be sent to registered mobile number and email ID. It is advised to keep the contact details active, as NTA will send all event-related information to the communication details provided. 

Fill JEE Main 2026 Registration Form (April session)

After the successful verification process, candidates will be able to access JEE Main login 2026 to fill in further information. To apply, candidates have to login with their application number and date of birth to complete following details -

How to capture a live photograph for JEE Mains 2026 Registration?

To capture a live photograph in JEE Main 2026, candidates have to follow the process below -

  • Candidates must switch on their camera or connect their webcam to the device used for filling JEE Main application form 2026.
  • If the device does not support a webcam, then QR code on the right can be scanned by the candidate using a mobile or tablet. 

NOTE: The background must light-coloured with proper lightning and 80% face visibility. 

JEE Main April Session Form Correction 2026

Candidates who have registered for session 1 and 2 in JEE Main can access the form correction window. Once session 2 registration is closed, NTA will activate the JEE Main 2026 application form correction window, and candidates will be able to access it using their application number and password.

No, JEE Main is not mandatory for Techno Bengal Institute of Technology admissions. Students can instead appear for the WBJEE exam. The institute considers both entrance tests. Students can visit the Techno Bengal Institute of Technology website for more details.
