Now that the MAH CET 2020 result has been finally announced, the Maharashtra CET will soon begin registration for MBA/MMS Counselling. The MAH CET Counselling Process normally begins in May with commencement of online registration. Since, this year the declaration of MAH CET result was delayed, the MAH CET Counselling Process, also known as MAH CET CAP has been delayed.

MAH CET 2020 Counseling for MBA/MMS
The Centralised Admission Process or CAP is a common counselling process through which MAH CET qualifiers are allotted seats in MBA institutes across Maharashtra. The seats are allotted category wise in three rounds based on MAH CET cut offs. Candidates who meet the minimum cut off of a particular MBA institute, is allotted seat in MBA/MMS programme.

Eligibility Criteria for MAH CET CAP
Students who can take part in MAH CET Counselling are divided into four categories.
- Maharashtra State Candidature
- All India Candidature
- Jammu & Kashmir Migrant Candidature
- NRI / OCI / PIO Foreign National, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries

- Candidates belonging to all categories must have completed graduation from a recognized university.
- Maharashtra State Candidature students must have obtained more than zero score in MAH CET 2020.
- All India Candidature/Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature must have obtained more than zero score in MAH CET/CAT/CMAT/MAT/GMAT/ATMA/XAT.
- NRI/OCI/PIO Foreign National, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries students do not need to clear any entrance exam.
MAH CET 2020 Expected Cut Off
Given the fact that this year, 1014 students have scored more than 99 percentile in MAH CET, admission cut off is expected to remain high for all top MBA institutes of Maharashtra. MAH CET cut off for JBIMS is expected to be around 99.98 percentile, while for SIMSREE, it is expected to be around 99.97 percentile.

The MAH CET cut off for Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, Mumbai is usually around 99.93 percentile. There is not much change in the cut off since the last few years.

The MAH MBA CET cut offs for SIMSREE Mumbai is usually between 99.97 to 99.98 percentile.

For JBIMS, Mumbai, the MAH CET cut off is usually 99.99 percentiel. The cut offs have remained static in the past 3-4 years.

Logical Reasoning section has 75 questions which are usually moderate but there can be a few questions that can challenge your skills. They can be confusing or time taking. Abstract Reasoning questions are easy, so candidates must target all 25 of them.

MAH CET MBA is a moderately difficult exam, but because it is Reasoning heavy, you will need about 6 months to prepare for it. A lot of practice will be required to master each topic, which is why you should start preparation about 6 months in advance.
