CAT 2023 exam date is getting closer. Since the competition is too high in this exam (over 3 lakh students have registered for CAT this year) one can’t let their guards down at any point of time. By now, CAT 2023 aspirants know their preparation level. Those who are scoring well in the CAT mock series would be feeling confident but those who are still struggling to reach the 95-99 percentile mark in the mocks may be trying harder.

When there is less time left for CAT 2023 exam you shouldn't take stress, rather work on your strengths. 1. Attempt CAT mock test

Candidates are now aware of their preparation level on the basis of the scores of mock tests they have taken so far. In the last leg of the CAT preparation, take a couple of mock tests more to keep the confidence level high. You may take the mock test at the time of your exam slot as a dress rehearsal of the main performance. Don’t fall for the temptation of practicing mock tests till the last day. Don’t over-do it as there is a risk of inviting unnecessary stress. What if out of five mocks, marks in three of them fall? It may shake your confidence. Nervousness at this juncture in dangerous. 2. Revise Important Topics of CAT syllabus

Continue topic wise revision of concepts and theories until a day before CAT 2023 so that all of it stays fresh in your memory. Go through the short notes made during preparation. Revise Square, Square Roots, Cube, Cube Roots, Fractions and Tables up to 20. These will be immensely helpful in quick calculation during the exam.

5. Understand guidelines for CAT 2023

At all the CAT 2023 exam centres, candidates need to follow certain guidelines set by the authorities for smooth passage of the exam. The exam centre staff as well as students are supposed to follow the guidelines of frisking, identification process and document verification guidelines. If you refuse to follow the rules or instructions given by the test centre staff, you may be barred from taking the exam. Check all the guidelines on the CAT 2023 admit card.

6. Visit your CAT exam centre a day before

CAT 2022 is being conducted at 400 test centres across India. Take out some time a day before the CAT exam to visit the exam centre to know the location, distance from home and availability of modes of transport. You can locate the exam centre through the Google map link in the digital copy of your CAT admit card.

7. Relax and rejuvenate

All the hard work done in the past few months will pay off. Don’t worry. Candidates must have confidence in their abilities and not stress themselves in the last few days before the CAT. Instead, indulge in recreational and rejuvenating activities after revision to relax the mind. Eat healthy and sleep well so that the mind is working to its full capacity on the CAT 2023 exam day.

Yes, candidates can get into MBA courses offered by IILM, Lodhi without appear in CAT. In addition to CAT, this institute also accepts MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT and GMAT exam scores as well.

However, candidates must appear in any of these exams mandatorily for IILM, Lodhi MBA eligibility criteria.

No the Sai University CAT exam is not compulsory for admission to BA courses. Students who have valid marks in other national level exams can also apply. The university considers exams such as CUET/ SAT India/ ACT, etc. Moreover, students can take admission based on merit also.

Yes, students can take admissions to BITS Law School without appearing from CLAT exam. BITS Law School admissions also conducts its own entrance exam called BITS Law Admission Test. Shortlisted candidates need to appear for Personal Interview rounds for admissions.

No, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar has not mentioned that it accepts CAT score for MBA admissions on their portals. Candidates are instead required to appear for an in-house entrance exam that is conducted by GNDU itself.
