
IIM Kozhikode conducted CAT 2025 in three slots on November 30, 2025. The CAT 2025 Slot 3 Quantitative Aptitude section had 22 questions to be attempted in 40 minutes. The section included 14 MCQs and eight TITA questions.
CAT 2025 Slot 3 QA was rated difficult and was considered the toughest section of the slot by several exam analysis sources. Arithmetic had the highest number of questions, followed by Algebra and Number System.
The section included questions from Arithmetic, Algebra, Number System, Modern Math and Geometry. Arithmetic had questions from Time-Speed-Distance, Time and Work, Ratio, Profit and Loss, Mixture, Averages and Pipes and Cisterns.

The difficulty level of CAT questions is usually moderate to high. Only a few questions are easy and quick to solve. To crack the CAT exam, one needs to pay attention to the abovementioned topics.
To get 99 percentile and above, candidates must attempt 40-45 out of 68 questions in CAT, with maximum accuracy.
There is no difference between slot 1, 2 and 3 of CAT exam paper in terms of structure and patten. The sectional break up, marking scheme and time limit are the same in all slots. However, due to unique sets of questions in each slot leads to difference in difficulty levels. There is usually a slight difference in the CAT question papers of different slots. Sometimes, topic wise weightage of the questions also vary. To negate advantage or disadantage to candidates due to difference in difficulty level of slots, CAT scores are normalised for result preparation.
