LUMET 2026 Exam: Application Form, Know Dates, Eligibility, Syllabus, Pattern

Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) is a university level entrance exam held annually for admission to MBA/MTTM programmes at Lucknow University. Candidates having valid CAT exam score can apply for MBA admission directly. Last year, the Lucknow University renamed LUMET.

The entrance exam is a MCQ based test, in which there will be 100 questions on General Awareness, English Verbal Ability & Comprehension, Data Interpretation & logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. The time duration of LUMET is 90 minutes.

Candidates selected on the basis of CAT/LUMET score will be invited for Personal Interview (PI) round. The final selection will be based on candidate's entrance exam score and performance in PI. CAT/LUMET carries 70 points and PI carries 30 points.

Candidates who wish to appear for the entrance test, must fulfill the following LUMET eligibility criteria:

• The candidate must have completed graduation in any stream with 10+2+3 system from any University recognized by University Grants Commission
• The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate ( 45 per cent for SC/ST candidates) at graduation level
• Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in the current year can apply for admission but they should fulfill all eligibility conditions on the day of admission.

LUMET 2027: Sectional Break Up

LUMET is an MCQ based exam in which candidates have to solve 100 questions in 90 minutes. Every section carries 2 marks. Check the table below for sectional break up:

How to Apply for LUMET 2026: LURN Registration

Candidates will need to generate a Lucknow University Registration Number or LURN by following the below given steps:

1. Go to lkouniv.ac.in and click on the Samarth website link: https://lkounivadm.samarth.edu.in/
2. Click on ‘new registration option’ and fill relevant details
3. Use a valid email ID to create a login ID
4. Use the OTP shared in email ID to confirm registration
5. Login again and create candidate profile
6. Pay INR 100 as registration fee to complete the process

LUMET 2027 Application Process

LUMET 2027 application form will have to be submitted before the deadline set by Lucknow University. Take a look at the steps to fill LUMET 2027 application form below. 

1. Log on to Lucknow University website
2. Click on application form-2027 admission (apply now) tab
3. Enter relevant details to register and create an account
4. Once the registration is done, log in with the ID created
5. Go to the application form and enter the details
6. Select Admission Mode - through CAT/CMAT score or LUMET 
7. Upload photo and scanned signature in the prescribed format and dimensions
8. Review LUMET 2027 application form and make edits if required
9. Next, pay the application fee using Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking
10. Download and save a copy of the LUMET application form 2026 for future reference

Candidates will need the following documents for filling LUMET 2027application form:

• Scanned photo (Maximum 50 KB)

• Class 10 and 12 marksheet

LUMET Application Fees 2027

Candidates applying for LUMET 2027 will be required to pay the application fees mentioned in the table below:

LUMET admit card 2027 will be issued to registered candidate a few days before the exam. Candidates will have to download it from the exam website. Here's how to download LUMET admit card 2027:

1. Visit  https://lkounivadm.samarth.edu.in/
2. Click on Download Admit Card'
3. Enter registration ID, password and captcha code
4. The admit card will appear on the screen in a PDF format
5. Download the hall ticket and take a print out of the same

Details Mentioned on LUMET 2027 Admit Card

After downloading the LUMET admit card, candidates must check the details mentioned on it. In case there is any incorrect/ incomplete information, they must report it to the exam authority and get it rectified. Details that need to be checked in the LUMET 2027 admit card are as follows:

• Candidate’s Date of Birth
• Registration Number
• Exam date
• Exam time
• Exam venue
• Contact details of the candidate
• Instructions related to the exam  

In case a candidate is unable to download the PDF format of the LUMET admit card, he/she must get in touch immediately with the university authority.

2. Go to 'Admission 2025-26 tab

3. Click on login tab

4. Enter registration number and password

5. Click on the Overall Merit List of MBA /MTTM

6. The candidate will be redirected to a page where the overall merit list will appear on the screen 

The university does not send hard copy of the LUMET scorecard to any candidate. Candidates can download their scorecards or LUMET merit list from the official website itself. After the results announcement, candidates will have to participate in LUMET 2027 counselling in online mode only, They will need to upload the documents for admission and make fee payment.
