What is GATE Safe Score?

The safe score in GATE exam is the minimum mark that is required for admission to your desired college or institute. The GATE safe score must be more than qualifying cutoff mark released by the conducting body. It can vary by paper depending on the competition, branch popularity, cutoff scores, etc.

What to do after GATE Result 2026?

After the declaration of the GATE result 2026, the scorecard will be available for the qualified candidates. Then, successful candidates will go for either admission to MTech programs or PSU recruitment through GATE.

GATE 2026 counselling will be conducted by COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) for admission to IITs, and CCMT (Centralised Counselling for MTech for admission to MTech programs offered by NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and CFTIs. The cutoff is the minimum mark the candidate must obtain to pass the exam. GATE cut-off marks for IIT, NIT, IIIT, etc., vary from stream to stream.
