The Consortium has announced that a new CLAT 2026 Counselling Schedule. The CLAT Counselling Process is completely online. The Consortium of NLUs published the CLAT Exam Results 2026 on consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates had to use their CLAT Login Credentials to download CLAT Scorecard 2026. The CLAT Result 2026 was released based on the CLAT 2026 Final Answer Key PDF

Aspirants must keep their CLAT Scorecard 2026 carefully until the admission process is over. Candidates should note that the overall attendance percentage for CLAT 2026 was 96.01%. The data released by the Consortium mentioned that this year, 57 per cent were Females, and 43 per cent Were Males Who appeared for the exam. Check here for all about the CLAT result 2026.

How to Check CLAT 2026 Result?

The result for the CLAT exam has been released online. The steps to download the scorecard are described below

  • Visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in
  • Login using the Registration Number and Password 
  • Under Result tab, click on the View Score Card tab.
  • Your result/ scorecard will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and take a printout of result PDF to refer it at the time of counselling registration, and seat allotment process.

Q:   Will I receive CLAT Scorecard through post?
A: 

No, the CLAT Scorecard will not be sent by post. The only way to get the scorecard is to download it online. Candidates can visit CLAT portal; i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Enter their login ID and password. The CLAT Result will appear on their screen. 

Q:   What are the websites to check CLAT 2026 Result?
A: 

To check the CLAT Result, candidates must note that there is only one website. CLAT Result can be checked on consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The CLAT Scorecard was released on the same website. 

Q:   When will the CLAT 2026 result be released?
A: 

The Consortium of NLUs announced the CLAT Result 2026 on December 16, 2025. The result was announced on consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Q:   What is CLAT Invite List?
A: 

The Consortium of NLUs publish the CLAT Invite List that will carry important details like roll number of the candidates who have scored high enough to be shortlisted the counselling process, their total marks and other details. With this candidates will be able to register for seat allotment in National Law Universities (NLUs) for UG and PG programs.

Q:   Can I get admission in NLUs without clearing CLAT Exam?

No you can not get admission to 24 participating NLUs without clearing CLAT Exam. For admission to NLU Delhi, you need to clear AILET Exam.

CLAT Merit List 2026

CLAT Consortium will announce the CLAT 2026 merit list for UG and PG courses separately. The CLAT 2026 Merit List PDF will be prepared based on the total marks scored by candidates in the exam. This means that a student scoring higher marks will be given a higher rank in the merit list. The merit list of CLAT will include information like All India Ranks (AIRs), roll numbers, and total marks. All candidates whose names have appeared in the merit list are eligible to participate in CLAT 2026 counselling for the seat allotment procedure at the National Law Universities (NLUs)

Q:   When CLAT Topper List 2026 will be released?
A: 

The CLAT Topper List will be released along with the CLAT 2026 Result. It must be noted that the admission to the NLU will be given based on the preference choosen by the candidate while filling the application form. 

Q:   Can I access the CLAT Result offline?
A: 

There is no such provision to check the CLAT 2026 Result offline. Candidates must go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in to check the Result once announced. CLAT 2026 Scorecard can be downloaded from the same website. Do ensure to check it properly and in case of any discrepancies reach out to the Consortium. CLAT Scorecard is mandatory to appear in CLAT Counselling Process.

Q:   Can an AILET Topper participate in CLAT Counselling Round?
A: 

While the CLAT Exam is held for NLUs, it is not for NLU Delhi. So, candidates who wish to get admission at NLU Delhi will have to clear AILET Exam and score expected cutoff.

What after CLAT Result 2026?

The CLAT 2026 admission process after the results are as mentioned below:

  • CLAT counselling: The number of candidates invited for CLAT counselling will be FIVE times the number of seats available in every category. The consortium will upload the list of eligible candidates on its website before the start of counselling registration.
  • CLAT cutoff: The Consortium of NLUs will release it online at the time of seat allotment. The cutoff is the minimum marks/rank that aspirants need to secure in order to get admission to a 5-year LLB or one-year LLB program

Q:   What is the next step after the CLAT Result is out?
A: 

Once the CLAT Result has been announced, the consortium will begin CLAT Counselling Registration. Only those candidates who have registered will be called for CLAT Counselling. So, candidates must register to participate in counselling. Once the counselling is over, candidates will have to pay the fees at the respective NLU to confirm their admission.

Q:   Can I get admission in NLUs without clearing CLAT Exam?
A: 

No you can not get admission to 24 participating NLUs without clearing CLAT Exam. For admission to NLU Delhi, you need to clear AILET Exam. 

Q:   What is good rank in CLAT exam?
A: 

A good rank in the CLAT exam for general category students is under 1,000–1,500 to secure admission in top-tier National Law Universities (NLUs). A rank under 500 is considered excellent for the top 5 NLUs, while a rank up to 3,000–5,000 can still secure a seat in newer, mid-tier NLUs.

Q:   When will CLAT 2026 Counselling be held?
A: 

The Consortium of NLUs has begun CLAT Counselling Process 2026. The counselling process of CLAT will be conducted in online mode on the official website of Consortium of NLUs; i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.  The  Counselling Process will be held in five rounds. 

Q:   Can I challenge CLAT 2026 Result?
A: 

Yes, you can, However, the consortium will not open any objection window for the same. In case you have any problem with your result you have to contact the helpdesk directly.
