Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CTET Result 2026 for the February session on March 30 at ctet.nic.in. Candidates who had appeared in the exam can check their result by using their login credentials like roll number and password. A direct link is also provided here. The CTET Answer Key was released on March 12 and the objection window was closed at March 15, 2026. The 21st edition CTET exam was held on February 7 and 8

How to Download CTET Feb Result 2026?

The CBSE conduct the CTET exam nationally to determine the eligibility of the teachers. It will be released online. The result has been released subject-wise consisting of the scores and qualifying status. Candidates need to use the methods here to check their CBSE CTET result 2026:

  • Visit ctet.nic.in.
  • Click on the result link present at the bottom of the page.
  • Enter the roll number.
  • Click on Submit.
  • Download and take print of result.

The CTET certificate holds lifetime validity for all category candidates. The CTET eligibility certificate is valid for life from the date of issue. How to download CTET Certificate & Marksheet 2026 on DigiLocker?

We have shared below the step-by-step process to help candidates download their certificate and marksheet from DigiLocker. Have a look:

Step 1: Visit the website digilocker.gov.in or download the DigiLocker app from the app store 

Step 2: Log in to the DigiLocker account using the username and password sent by the CBSE to your registered mobile number. If you are using the platform for the first time, your username will be your registered mobile number, and your password will be your mother’s name (in lower case) and the last four digits of your roll number. Also, if you have not received any SMS from the CBSE, you can still get your documents by signing up on the DigiLocker using your Aadhaar number.

Step 3: After successfully logging in, navigate and click on the ‘Issued Documents’ tab. Under this tab, you will get to see the CTET marksheet, certificate or other documents.

Step 4: View the documents and carefully go through them

Step 5: Download the CTET certificate and marksheet by clicking on the PDF icon against the given document

Step 6: Print the document for future use

Note: The CTET marksheet and certificate will be digitally signed and will be legally valid under the IT Act. These documents will also contain an encrypted QR code for security purposes. This QR code can be verified through the DigiLocker mobile app.

  • CBSE provides CTET marksheets to all candidates and eligibility certificates to all successful candidates in Digital Format in their DigiLocker account.
  • The CTET marksheets and certificates are digitally signed and are legally valid as per the IT Act.
  • The CTET certificates and marksheets contain an encrypted QR Code to enhance security. This QR code can be scanned and verified using the DigiLocker mobile app.
  • The DigiLocker accounts of all candidates appearing for the CTET exam are created, and the account credentials are conveyed to the candidates on their registered mobile numbers.
  • Candidates will be able to download their digital marksheets and certificates using the communicated credentials.

Applicability of CTET 2026

The CTET scores are given weight in the recruitment process. However, merely qualifying the CTET exam does not confer a right on any person for recruitment or employment, as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment. After qualifying for the CTET exam, candidates can apply for teacher recruitment in the following types of schools:

  • Schools affiliated under the Central Government- KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.
  • Schools under the administrative control of Union Territories such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep.
  • Private schools that consider and require CTET qualification.
  • Schools owned by State Governments and local bodies.

According to the NCTE notification, candidates require 60% or more to pass the CTET examination. The minimum marks required by a candidate being a General category to qualify the CTET exam is 90 out of 150 and for SC, ST, OBC and PwD is 82 out of 150.
