Overview

NERIST Entrance Exam Pattern 2026: The exam body prescribes the NEE exam pattern and uploads it on its website. Candidates can check here the NERIST NEE 2026 exam pattern to know about the time duration, marking scheme, topics, and sections of the exam. For every wrong answer to a question, 25% of the marks carried by that question will be deducted. There is no deduction of marks for un-attempted questions. The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is conducted as a pen and paper-based test. The duration of each NERIST entrance exam is 3 hours.

As the test is conducted for separate exams such as NEE-I, NEE-II, and NEE-III, the pattern of the same differs. Aspirants can check the exam pattern of NEE 2026 for all three entrance exams here. NERIST NEE 2026 Marking Scheme

There is a negative marking policy in the NEE exam pattern, check below:

For every correct answer, 1 mark will be added to the total score of the candidate.
For every incorrect response, 0.25 or ¼ marks will be deducted from the total score candidate.
No marks will be deducted from the total score of a candidate for not attempting a question.
