NERIST Entrance Exam 2025 Syllabus: The authorities prescribe the NERIST entrance exam syllabus for three different NERIST entrance exams- NEE I, NEE II, and NEE III. The topics and chapters are different for all levels of the NERIST NEE Syllabus 2025. Through the syllabus of students can learn about to be covered for the entrance test. Q:   What subjects are asked in NERIST NEE-I exam?
A: 

In NEE-I questuons are asked from Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The full marks in NEE-I paper is 150. 35 questions are asked from Phyics, 35 quesytions from chemistry and 55 questions come from Maths.

Q:   What subjects are asked in NEE-II exam?
A: 

For NEE-II (BTech courses) questions are asked from Physics, Chemistry and Maths. 35 questions come from Physics, 35 questions come from Chemistry and 45 questions ae asked from Mathematics. On the other hand for the NEE-II (BSc H Forestry courses) questions are asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 35 questions come from Physics, 35 questions come from Chemistry and 30questions ae asked from Mathematics.

Q:   What are the subjects from where questions are asked in NEE-III exam?
A: 

In NEE-III exam questions come from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Bracnch subject that the candidate has selected. 35 questions come from Physics, 35 questions from Chemistry, 30 questions come from Maths and 55 questions are branch specific.

  • Know the syllabus for the NERIST Entrance Exam. Mathematics: Analytical Geometry, Complex Numbers, Differential Calculus, Matrices and Determinants Sequence and Series Theory of Equation, Trigonometry and Vector Algebra. Chemistry Alcohols, Carbonyl Compounds, Coordination Chemistry D and F Block Elements, Electro Chemistry Ethers, Organic Nitrogen Compounds, Solid States, and Thermodynamics. Physics Atomic Physics Communication Systems, Current Electricity Electromagnetic Induction and Alternate Current, Electromagnetic Waves and Wave Optics Electrostatics, and Nuclear Physics.

Q:   Is there a negative marking in NERIST NEE?
A: 

Yes, there is nagative marking in NERIST NEE. For all the examinations (NEE-I/ NEE-II/ NEE-III) with any paper code, the questions are of objective type with multiple-choice answers. Candidates shall have to attempt all the questions from all the sections of the relevant paper. For every wrong answer to a question, 25% (¼th) of the marks carried by that question is deducted. There is no deduction of marks for un-attempted questions.

Q:   Is the NERIST exam online or offline?
A: 

The NERIST NEE is an offline exam. The candidates have to answer the questions asked in the exam in the OMR sheet. The question paper will consist of 125 multiple-choice questions carrying 150 marks. The candidates have to complete the paper within three hours duration.
