All undergraduate and certain graduate programme admissions at Shiv Nadar University are determined via entrance. National-level entrance tests including JEE Main, SAT, GATE, GMAT, XAT, and others are accepted by the university. For admission to undergraduate programmes, the university administers the SNUSAT entrance exam. Admission to SNU involves a number of steps. Prior to achieving the requirements for the chosen course, candidates must register for the course of their choice. Both entry and merit criteria will be used in the selection process. To grant admission to UG courses, SNU administers the SNUSAT. Additional rounds of selection follow. For UG courses, the university also accepts national entrance tests such as the ACT, CUET, and SAT (College Board). MBA admissions are determined by the GMAT, GRE, CAT, and other tests.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to various courses offered at Shiv Nadar University is Class 12 with a minimum of 45 percent aggregate to 75 percent aggregate, depending on the course selected. Shiv Nadar University may change the eligibility criteria for SNUSAT exam if it sees any requirement to do so. If the SNUSAT eligibility criteria is changed, the university will intimate about the same on its official website.

After Shiv Nadar University releases the result for candidates who appeared for the exam, it releases a list of candidates who are selected for Personal Interview round. The PI round will be conducted on prescribed date and time in online mode. After that candidates will have to participate in SNUSAT counselling process and get their documents verified to confirm admission.

Following are the SNUSAT registration last dates 2026 for all phases:

Shiv Nadar University will conduct SNUSAT 2026 exam for phase 3 on April 12, 2026. Candidates who will register for phase 3 by March 31, 2026, will be able to appear for the exam.

Shiv Nadar University accepts admission to courses based on four different routes for BMS and BSc Economics & Finance. These four routes include:

No, SNUSAT is an entrance exam for Shiv Nadar University, Noida. So, don't confuse SSN with that college. No, candidates can fill SNUSAT application form in online mode only. Shiv Nadar University will not accept any offline application form received. Only candidates who will fill and submit SNUSAT online form before deadline will be issued admit card to appear for the exam.

A candidate's passport size photograph in SNUSAT online form should be of 512 KB in JPEG or PNG format. The dimensions should be 200 px tall and 150 px wide. Apart from these, candidates must keep following things in mind:

• eyes should be open and clearly visible
• shoulder tops and face should be visible
• should be a front-facing picture
• should not be more than six months old
• candidates mustn't wear sunglasses, caps or any accessories in the photograph 

According to Shiv Nadar University, candidates can book slot for their examination 48 hours before the D-day. After booking slot, candidates will have to appear for the booked slot on exam day at a test centre administered by Pearson VUE.
