In the event of failure of an exam, study harder the next time and before writing it again, find out what went wrong the first time. Maybe you can ask some of your friends to help you too.
One of the biggest lies that I have heard since childhood is that exams are the factor that will determine the kind of job you do. Now, this doesn’t mean that you don’t take exams seriously at all and flunk everything. You should keep in mind that the exam is not the test that is going to determine your future. I can understand the situations in which you might have got an earful from parents during the PTA meetings at school or when the results come out during your Bachelor's or Master's degree days. But think for a moment, exams are designed to evaluate you at the end of a year in an educational institution.

Just because you fail your JEE exam or get low marks doesn’t mean that you are the most worthless person in this world. Maybe the reason you failed in your exam or scored low is that you lack interest in that particular subject. Trying to learn something in which you lack interest is a really hard thing to do. Along with this, pressure from parents can also be quite difficult to manage. The reason why parents are hard on you is that they want you to succeed but too much pressure can also cause problems. You can try to convince them about what went wrong and assure them that you will crack it the next time.
Skills and practical knowledge matters more
In such cases, you should try to find out ways in which you can learn it more easily. Sometimes, your friends might be able to help you in such cases or a little bit of online research may help you. If you think that marks will take you forward in life, believe me, you are wrong. In today’s world, companies and people are interested in skills and practical knowledge.
Your degrees and marks will only take you to the first job. After that, your marks will play only a very small role in your career. After that, what matters is the experience and ability to solve problems. Some friends of mine still have back papers to clear in their B.Tech but all of them are now working at firms and some of them draw nearly Rs. 60,000 as salary. So, this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t study at all for the exams but keep in mind that exams are not the only things that will take you forward in your life.
In the event of failure of your JEE exam, study harder the next time and before writing it again, find out what went wrong the first time. Maybe you can ask some of your friends to help you too. There is no need to be ashamed of asking for help. That’s what clever people do. There’s nothing in asking about something that you didn’t understand. Sometimes, in classes, you might come across situations where students make fun of you for asking questions. Keep in mind that it is your mouth, your tongue and your wish. Everything else is immaterial.
