NSAT Registration Dates and Process 2026
To apply for NSAT, candidates had to fill the NIU admissiom form. Check below the process of NSAT registration 2026:
- Visit NIU website https://niu.edu.in/
- Click on 'apply now 2026' tab
- Enter basic information, select course and click on ‘apply online’
- After successful registration, login with shared login ID
- Fill NSAT 2026 form with academic and personal details
- Upload a passport size photo in prescribed dimension
- Pay application fee
Candidates must note that if applying for admission through a national level exam score such as JEE Main and CUET UG, then they will need to mention marks scored in the exam, in the NSAT application form.

NSAT application fee is INR 150. Early bird registration fee is INR 100. The fee is to be paid at the time of form submission. There is no fee relaxation for any candidate. Candidates must ensure that they pay NSAT fee before application closure to be eligible for the exam. The fee can be paid online.
NSAT is conducted for admission to UG courses, thus the minimum eligibility criteria is class 12 or equivalent pass. The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50 percent in their class 12 exam. For, BBA, BBA LLB course, the stream of education can be ARrts, Commerce or Science. BTech applicants must have completed their class 12 from Science stream (with maths).
It is not compulsory to attempt all sections of NSAT, but it is recommended to do so. Skipping an entire section will affect your overall score and you might not make the cut.
MSAT Admit Card Date 2026
NSAT 2026 admit card was issued to candidates immediately after they submit the application form. Candidates received NSAT admit card 2026 in email soon after their application form was submitted and fee payment if done. There is no particular date for NSAT. Candidates are allotted an exam date and slot as per their registration and availability.
NIU admission process through NSAT includes shortlisting of candidates for counselling, conduct of counselling round and final selection. Candidates who meet NSAT cut off or CUET cut off, are shortlisted for admission and a provisional merit list is released. Selected candidates are then required to reserve seat by paying 50 percent of the semester fee. The remaining fee is to be paid within a month to confirm admission.
NSAT Result Date 2026
NSAT 2026 result was shared with the candidate in email after soon after they completed the test. They had to download it from the university website by using the login credential created at the time of registration. The university also informed the candidate about their selection status for GD/PI in the email.

NSAT counselling 2026 was conducted phase wise. After clearing the entrance exam, candidates were selected got the GD-PI round. This round was conducted in batches. Candidate selection was done on the basis of minimum cut off fixed for NSAT. Participating in the GD/PI round was mandatory for candidates to get selected for admission.
