NSAT exam pattern 2027 has been prescribed by NIU. Exam will be conducted for 150 minutes in which candidates will have to solve 75 objective type questions based on relevant subjects. Q: Is the NSAT syllabus same as CUET syllabus?

NSAT syllabus for BBA, BA LLB, BBA LLB is somewhat same as CUET syllabus. However, if you plan to appear for the exam, check for NSAT syllabus specifically and prepare only those topics that are included in it.

Q: Is NSAT mandatory for admission to NIU?

No, NSAT or NIU Scholarship cum Admission Test is not mandatory for NIU admission. The institute also accepts CUET for technical programmes. If a candidate has CUET score they can directly seek admission to NIU through counselling. However, if a candidate wishes to appear for NSAT and use its score for admission, they are allowed to do so.

NSAT is an easy exam but one must not take it lightly. Candidates must study all the topics included in the exam syllabus in detail and practice sample questions too. Ideally, they should study for 2-3 months. This is important as despite having cleared the boards exam, there must be continous revision of subjects and chapters as NSAT questions are of different nature than Boards exam questions.

NIU admission process through NSAT includes shortlisting of candidates for counselling, conduct of counselling round and final selection. Candidates who meet NSAT cut off or CUET cut off, are shortlisted for admission and a provisional merit list is released. Selected candidates are then required to reserve seat by paying 50 percent of the semester fee. The remaining fee is to be paid within a month to confirm admission.
