Problems in downloading JEE Main 2021 Admit Card

Aspirants may face two types of problems related to the admit card:

  • Discrepancies in details mentioned on the JEE Main admit card 2021

Incomplete Registrations: Only those candidates who have successfully registered for the exam and paid the application will only be allowed to download the JEE Main 2021 admit card. Candidates having incomplete registrations will not be allowed to download it.

Incorrect Credentials: Candidates who forget their login credentials will not be able to download the JEE Main admit card. In such a case, candidates can retrieve their password by clicking on the tab named "Forget Password" on the official website. After clicking on the link, candidates will receive a link on their registered mail ID to reset the password.

Downloading JEE Main 2021 admit card on mobile: Candidates are not advised to download the JEE Main admit card 2021 on their mobile phones. They must download it through a desktop and take it multiple printouts for future reference.

Internet Speed/Connectivity: In case of slow internet or poor connectivity, students may not download admit card of JEE Mains 2021. Either candidate should switch to an internet connection with better speed or wait for connectivity to improve.

JEE Main admit card through post: All aspirants must note that the NTA will not send admit cards to students through post, courier, mail or any other medium. It can only be downloaded from the official website after entering the login credentials.

JEE Main Admit Card Problems: Ways to Resolve It

Discrepancy in JEE Main admit card 2021: Aspirants who find any discrepancy in the details mentioned on the admit card should immediately mail to jeemain-nta@gov.in. In this case, candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam with the downloaded admit card. NTA, the conducting authority of the exam, will make the required changes in the record later.

The admit card of JEE Main is an extremely important document. Without this, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam at any of the JEE Main test centres.

Forgot JEE Main 2021 Password, what to do?

In case candidates forget their password, they can follow the steps below:

  • Visit the official website of JEE Main 2021
  • Click on the “Forgot Password” link
  • Answer the security question
  • A verification code will be sent to the registered mobile number
  • A password reset link will be sent to the registered email ID
  • Click on the reset password link and create a new password
  • Remember the new password
  • Login to the admit card link by using the new password
  • Download the JEE Main admit card
