JEE Main application form correction is available for students from July 6 to 8. Read below to know the details.
JEE Main 2021 application form along with the correction window has been made available by the NTA for candidates aspiring to appear in the third session (April) from July 20 to 25. Students who have already submitted their application form can change details in their JEE Main application form is open on the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in from July 6 to 8. Students may be charged with an additional fee to make corrections in their application forms.
Applicants are also allowed to withdraw from their remaining JEE Main 2021 sessions if they wish to. JEE Main 2021 registration window will open again on July 9 to 12 for the fourth session (May). Few of the corrections in the application are free of cost. However, for few changes, candidates have to pay an additional fee. Final updates will be reflected in the JEE Main application form only after the payment. Every applicant must keep in mind that the NTA will not consider any request of JEE Main application corrections after the prescribed deadline under any circumstances.

JEE Main 2021 Application Form Correction Details
The following corrections can be made in JEE Main 2021 Application Form:
- Candidates’ Name (as per the Class 10 marks sheet/certificate only)
- Paper (change from Paper 1 to Paper 2 or vice versa or addition or removal of a paper)
- Date of Birth (as per the Class 10 marks sheet/certificate only)
- Communication Address
- Contact Number
- Uploaded Photograph and Signature
- JEE Main 2021 exam centre/city preference
Image Specifications for JEE Main 2021 Application form
Candidates must upload their photograph/signature as per the guidelines specified below. In case one has failed to do so, he/she can change their pictures from July 6 to 8. It is mandatory for candidates to upload the images as per the specifications failing which may end up cancelling their application form for the exam.
- The file size of the passport photograph should be 10 kb to 200 kb (JPG/JPEG format)
- The file size of the signature should be 4 kb to 30 kb (JPG/JPEG format)
- The photograph must be recent (80% face coverage, ears clearly visible, on white background preferably indicating the name of the candidate and the date of taking the photograph)
- There is no need to get the photograph attested
- Applications without photographs or unclear photographs shall be rejected
- Spectacles are allowed if used regularly
- Candidates are advised to keep 6 to 8 passport size and 4 to 6 postcard size colour photographs with white backgrounds

Candidates often make mistakes while filling the online form. Follow the steps given below to change the details
Step-1: Visit NTA JEE Main Official Website
Step-2: Click on the ‘Application Form Correction for JEE (Main) – 2021’ link
Step-3: Enter Application Number, Password and Security Pin to access the application form JEE Main Form Correction Open
Step-4: In the new window, click on ‘Manage Form Particulars Correction’
Step-5: In the new window, important instructions will appear. Students must read them and then go ahead to make corrections
Step-6: Edit the information that needs correction except for the exam centre.
Step -8: Submit the application form. Pay the additional fee (if required).

- To access the form status (or rechecking form), log in using the application number and password
- After that, click on the status tab
- The status of JEE Main Application Form 2021 will be mentioned
