JEE Main 2021 Barch course admission criteria have been relaxed now, informed the Union Education Minister. Read on to know the details.
JEE Main 2021: The admission criteria for the Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) course have been relaxed in view of the ongoing pandemic. The information in this regard has been shared by the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ through a tweet.
The education minister wrote on his official Twitter handle, “In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, admission eligibility for BArch degree course has been relaxed for academic session 2021-2022. Minimum requirement of 50% in PCM and aggregate of 10+2 is relaxed to only pass in Class 12 with PCM subjects/10+3 Diploma with Mathematics.”

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with PCM or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics are eligible for admission to BArch in the 2020-21 session. Earlier, it was mandatory for candidates to score a minimum of 50 per cent marks in their qualifying examination along with valid NATA or JEE scores for BArch admissions.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the result of the JEE Main 2021 for BArch, BPlanning exams on March 18. All those who have appeared for the Paper-2A and 2B in the February session can check/download their results from the official site i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Two candidates, Josyula Venkata Aditya from Telangana and Jadhav Aditya Sunil from Maharashtra, have scored 100 percentile in BArch and BPlanning respectively in the first session of JEE Main 2021.

No. There is no qualifying percentile in JEE Main. However, the candidates who want to appear in JEE Advanced will have to get a minimum qualifying percentile in JEE Mains. This minimum qualifying percentile is announced with the JEE Main session 2 reult.
