Considering the current COVID-19 situation, NTA is less likely to conduct the exam til June. JEE Main new exam date 2021 will be announced on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The April and May edition of JEE Main 2021 are less likely to be conducted in May, and even in June as the situation is still perilous. The morbidity rate of COVID-19 cases are still very high, with no sign of coming into control in May and June. Considering the prevailing situation, NTA shall not be conducting the JEE Main 2021 April and May session at least till June.
As per the NTA notice for JEE Main 2021 postponement dated May 4, the rescheduling of dates for both the sessions will be done subsequently and will be notified at least 15 days before conducting the exam. The JEE Main admit card 2021 for the exam will be issued to all the registered candidates after the announcement of JEE Main exam date.

JEE Main 2021 April was to be held from 27 to 30 April while the May session was scheduled from 24 to 28 May. The first two session had been successfully conducted from February 23 to 26 and March 16 to 18.
More than 20 lakh students registered for all the four session of JEE Main 2021 out of which around 11 lakh have appeared in first two sessions. JEE Main May 2021 registration will also be opened for a short period of time to allow fresh applications for the May session exam. The registration was earlier scheduled from May 3 to 12 but had to be delayed due to postponement of exam.
NTA also advised students to continue preparing for the exam and use JEE Main mock tests available on the official website nta.ac.in and also on the National Test Abhyas app free of cost.
Beside JEE Mains 2021, many other engineering entrance exams have also been postponed while some have been turned to home based online, remote proctored exam.
