NTA has increased JEE Main 2021 exam centres to 828 from 660 spread across 334 cities of India. It will help in ensuring all COVID-19 guidelines and safety protocal are being met at exam centres.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced JEE Main 2021 exam date for session 3 (April) and session 4 (May) exams. Along with the declaration of JEE dates, NTA has also announced that around 102 new exam cities and 168 exam centres have been added for the upcoming session 3 and 4 exams. JEE Main 2021 will not be conducted at around 880 exam centres in 334 exam cities spread across various states of the country and abroad.
NTA has also allowed candidates who have registered earlier for the JEE Main 2021 April and May exams to change their exam city preference and select new test city near to their place of residence. Candidates can login through the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.nic.in and change their exam centre preference from July 6 to 8 and also during July 9 to 12. Candidates who are registering as fresh candidates will see option of newly added cities while filling the JEE Main application form 2021.

The increase in exam cities and centres have been made to ensure all norms of social distancing in and out the examination hall is followed and also ensure all the COVID-19 safety protocols are met. It will help in assuring that less students are accommodated in every exam centres which would ultimately help in meeting all the Government guidelines for COVID-19 and social distancing norms.
For the matter of students safety and ease of organizing the JEE Main 2021 session 3 and 4 exams, NTA will be adopting the following measures,

Face masks will be provided to every candidate at the JEE Main exam centre

Examination hall, computers and seats will be sanitized before and after every shift during the exam day period.

To avoid social gathering at the exam centre, students will be given staggered time slots for reporting.

Candidates will be seated in the exam hall following the social distancing norms
JEE Main 2021 April exam will be conducted from July 20 to 25 and the May exam will be held from July 25 to 27. JEE Main admit card 2021 will be issued after the completion of application and correction window period.
