JEE Main 2026 January 29 Admit Card OUT: JEE Main Hall Ticket 2026 for the January 29 exam has been released by National Testing Agency (NTA). JEE Main Admit Card 2026 is released on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates appearing for session 1 exam on January 29 can download the hall ticket by logging in with JEE Main Application Number and Date of Birth. JEE Main 2026 Jan 29 Admit Card is an important document to enter exam hall and has details like candidate's name, roll number, exam date, shift timing, reporting time, exam centre address and exam day instructions.
NTA has released JEE Main 2026 session 1 admit card for exams on January 21, 22, 23 and 24. For the January 28 and 29 exams, the admit card will be issued soon. Once released, candidates can check the admit card on jeemain.nta.nic.in.
After you doenload the JEE Mains admit card, you have to:
- Paste a photo (same as the one uploaded in the online form before reaching the exam centre).
- Do signature (on the exam day, in presence of invigilator)
- Put left hand thumb impression (before reaching the exam centre)

Steps to Download the JEE Main January 29 Admit Card
Candidates can download the JEE Main 2026 Admit Card only from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA will not send the admit card by post or email. Students must download the admit card only from the official website and not from any other website. Here are the steps to download the JEE Main admit card for the January 29 exam.
- Visit the official NTA website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Find the "Candidate Activity" section.
- Click the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Admit Card link.
- Fill in Application Number, Password/Date of Birth, and Security Pin (CAPTCHA) displayed on screen.
- After logging in, the admit card will appear on the dashboard.
- Click "Download Admit Card" button and take 2-3 clear printouts (preferably in colour) for the exam day.

Details on the JEE Main 2026 Admit Card
The JEE Main Hall Ticket 2026 will have the following details.
- Personal Details of the candidates, including name, roll number, application number, date of birth, photograph and signature.
- Admit Card will also have the exam date, shift, reporting time, exam duration and exam centre address.
- In addition, the admit card will also have the exam-related information, like (Paper 1- BE/BTech or Paper 2 - BArch/BPlanning)

To download the JEE Main admit card, candidates need their:
- JEE Main application number
- Date of birth/password.

No, JEE Main admit card and exam city slip are not same. Exam city intimation slip gives details about exam city and date of exam of candidates. It is released before the release of admit cards.
JEE Main admit card is the hall ticket, which allows entry to thee exam hall for appearing in the exam. Candidates are allowed to appear in the exam only with JEE Mains admit card and not exam city slip.
On the day of JEE Main 2026, the candidates must take the following documents.

- Passport- Size photograph of the candidates.

What to Do in Case of Discrepency in Admit Card
If the candidates find any errors in their personal details or exam centre details, they must immediately contact the NTA through the helpline number or email. The corrections must be done before the exam date. Candidates can contact the helpdesk at 011-40759000 or email jeemain-nta@gov.in.
Minor issues should also be reported without delay. The candidates must not wait till the day of the exam to correct the error, as this may cause issues during the exam.
Is JEE Main Self Declaration Form Required on Exam Day?
JEE Main Self Declaration Form is required on exam day. Candidates must take the filled and signed self-declaration form along with the JEE Main admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam centre. This form confirms that the candidate is meeting the exam day requirement laid down by NTA.
The JEE Main self-declaration form is a document issued by National Testing Agency (NTA) in which the candidates declare the following.
- Candidates are appearing for the exam as per NTA guidelines.
- They are not suffering from any contagious illness.
- All information given by the candidate is correct.
JEE Main 2026 Jan 29 Admit Card Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates must follow these guidelines on the day of exam.
- Carry printed copy of JEE Main 2026 Admit Card along with valid ID proof.
- Candidates must reach the exam centre well before reporting time.
- Wear a simple and comfortable dress.
- Candidates have to undergo a biometric verification.
- Candidates cannot leave the hall before the exam ends
- Rough paper will be given at the exam centre by the authorities.
