With the highest number of registrations recorded this year and making an attendance record of 96.26%, the JEE Main 2026 cutoff for SC is most likely to increase. According to the past year’s cutoff trends and other factors, the minimum qualifying JEE Main cutoff for SC is likely to fall somewhere around 62-63 percentile in JEE Mains.

JEE Mains 2026 Result Stats: SC Category

According to the JEE Main 2026 result statistics released by NTA, 129,902 candidates from the SC category appeared for the JEE Mains exam in 2026 out of 137,207 applicants. Based on various factors, including the number of registered applicants, paper difficulty, and trends from the previous year’s cutoffs, the JEE Main cutoff 2026 list for the SC category will be prepared and released. 

JEE Mains 2026 Safe Cutoff Score for SC Category

Based on the session 1 results, it is expected that SC category candidates with 62 to 63 percentile in JEE Main 2026 will be considered as safe and qualified for further admission and counselling process. For accurate results, and considering JEE Main 2026 marks vs percentile, 62 to 63 percentile will roughly range around 50 to 60 marks in the JEE Mains

JEE Mains Cutoff 2026 for SC Category: Qualifying Vs Admission Cutoff

The conducting body, NTA, will release two types of cutoffs for students to be eligible for BTech admission. One is the qualifying cutoff and the admission cutoff. The qualifying cutoff is the minimum mark to be eligible for JEE Advanced. On the other hand, the admission cutoff will be released during the JoSAA counselling to offer admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.

No, JEE Main is not compulsory for Intellipaat School of Technology, Pune BTech admissions. The institute conducts an in-house test based on which seats are given. Aspirants have to appear for the ISTEE to get admission in the institute.
