Minister of Education, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal conducted interaction today where he addressed all the queries/doubts related to JEE Main 2021 exam. He stated that the Ministry is considering the decision to conduct JEE Main four times a year starting from February end, then March, April and May. Education Minister said that many students have requested earlier to conduct the upcoming JEE Main exam three to four times and therefore they will consider the same.

To reduce the stress and provide the flexibility to the students the authority will consider this decision of providing candidates with the option for multiple attempts (four times a year). Candidates must note that the best of these scores will be used for admission. The Minister assured the students that the suggestion to conduct three to four times a year will be examined positively and the final decision will be notified to the candidates. The JEE Main 2021 exam dates will be released soon by the NTA.

No, candidates cannot take admission in BTech at NIT Uttarakhand without JEE Main. It is the mandatory national-level entrance test for admission through JoSAA/CSAB counselling. Admission is based entirely on your JEE Main Rank and counseling round.

Yes, JEE Main is enough for Krupanidhi Institute of Technology admission. But it is not the only exam accepted for B.E. The institute also accepts CET and COMEDK score. Hence, even if JEE score is not available, students can still apply for admissions at the institute.

2) Participate in CSAB — extra chance

3) Don't skip state counselling — OBC quota there can be very beneficial

4) Apply to NSUT/YMCA — placements rival many NITs

The East Point Group of Institutions accepts many exams for the BE course. The accepted exams are JEE Main, COMEDK, and KCET. Students can appear in any of these exams to get admission at EPGI. Students need to fulfil the eligibility criteria as well.

With 57.8 percentile in JEE Main and 73% boards, getting CSE/AI in top government colleges is unlikely. But you still have good chances in private colleges through UPTAC/AKTU or direct admission.

Possible options:
