Why is delay in announcement of JEE Main Result 2021 session 4?
There is a possibility that JEE Main scam which was unearthed recently might be the reason for delay in the result. Students are asking when will JEE Main result 2021 session 4 be declared. NTA has not notified any JEE Main result date and time but it is most likely to be declared today. Howevere, there has been a delay in announcement of JEE Main result 2021 session 4, which was slated to be announced earlier before September 10.

What Details will be available through JEE Main 2021 Result Session 4
The NTA will announce details of candidates percentile score in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, aggregate percentile score, score of all attempts of JEE Main 2021, All India Rank and JEE Main cutoff along with the results. Candidates basic details like name, photograph, signature and application number will also be mentioned in JEE Main 4th attempt result 2021.
JEE Main Final Answer Key 2021 not released by NTA
The NTA has not yet released JEE Main final answer key 2021 for session 4 exam. It is expected that the final answer key will be released along with JEE Main 4th attempt result 2021. The final answer key of JEE Main 2021 will be available online on the official website. JEE Main provisional answer key 2021 was released on September 6 and challenges were accepted up to September 8. Final JEE Main answer key is used to calculate the result and candidates are not allowed to challnge it.
NTA JEE results 2021: New tie-breaking rule
NTA JEE Main results 2021 is expected to be released soon at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates should note that the tie-breaking rule for JEE Main result 2021 has been revised by the NTA this year. Candidates can check the revised JEE Main tie-breaking rule below.
JEE Main result 2021 session 4- Revised tie-breaking rule for paper 1
- A candidate having a high NTA score in Mathematics will be given preference.
- If a tie still persists, NTA score in Physics will be taken into account.
- If a tie still continues, the NTA score of Chemistry will be considered
- Candidates having a lesser ratio of negative to positive responses will be given a higher JEE Main rank
A tie is considered when two or more students obtains the same aggregate percentile score in JEE Main. Before this, the final tie was removed by considering candidate of older age high in the merit.
