SRMJEEM exam pattern is prepared by SRM University, Chennai, the exam conducting body. The exam pattern of SRMJEEM is same as other MBA entrance exam, i.e. candidates have to solve 100 MCQs in a stipulated time. SRMJEEM question paper comprises five sections – Data Interpretation, Quantitative, Reasoning, English and General Knowledge. Every question carries 3 marks.

SRMJEEM 2025 will be conducted in remote proctored mode in multiple phases. The exam timing is 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. The exam is conducted on a single day for each phase. Candidates can select the exam slot as per their preference in the SRMJEEM application form 2025.

Q:   What is the SRMJEEM exam syllabus?

A:

The syllabus of SRMJEEM exam includes all important topics of Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Data Interpretation, English and GK/Current Affairs/Business Affairs. Candidates can prepare for these topics with the help of books recommended for MBA entrance exam. For preparation. Nishit K. Sinha are highly recommended. You can also refer to books recommended for CAT exam preparation.

Q:   How many times SRMJEEM exam is conducted?

A:

SRMJEEM exam is conducted multiple times a year. This year, dates of four phases have been announced so far. The first phase exam will be conducted in February, second phase will be conducted in March, third phase will be conducted in May and the fourth phase will be conducted in June. Q:   Is SRMJEEM also held in offline mode?

A:

No, SRMJEEM is conducted in remote proctored online mode only. Candidates have to take the exam from home with their webcam on. Candidates require the following for taking the exam:

  • Computer - Pentium IV/Dual Core, 1GB RAM or higher, 80 GB HDD or higher, 15” colour Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Microsoft Windows 10 and above Antivirus Webcam and microphone.
  • Internet connection A stable internet connection of at least 512 KBPS (1MBPS is preferred) shall be available throughout the test.

Candidates can also use the mobile phone for taking the exam.

Q:   How long does SRMJEEM score remain valid?

A:

SRMJEEM result remains valid for one particular session only. SRMJEEM 2024 scores will be valid for admission to 2024 academic session only. If a candidates wishes to improve their score, they can appear for the test up to four times in the given academic session. Best scores of all the attempts will be taken into consideration for admission. If a candidates still wishes to drop a year, then they will have to appear for the exam again.

Q:   Is there any age limit for appearing in SRMJEEM?

A:

No, there is no age limit for applying for SRMJEEM. However, the candidates must fulfill academic eligibility criteria of completing graduation. Candidates in their final year of bachelor's degree programme are also eligible to appear in the SRMJEEM. Such candidates can apply only if they meet the minimum score requirement in their first two years.

  • Candidates can book their convenient SRMJEEM test slots, subject to the availability of slots for a particular center/date.
  • The type and nature if questions are at par with other MBA entrance exams
  • Candidates can choose the order of section while taking the SRMJEEM 2025 exam
  • There will be no negative marking for wrong answers

SRMJEEM 2025: Online Proctored Test Requirements

Configuration of computer/ laptop/ Internet connection for taking the test:

  • Computer - Pentium IV/Dual Core, 1GB RAM or higher, 80 GB HDD or higher, 15” colour Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Microsoft Windows 10 and above Antivirus Webcam and microphone.

  • Candidates can also use the mobile phone for taking the exam.
  • Mobile Hotspot with sufficient data balance, incase candidates wish to use mobile data for taking the test.

SRMJEEM 2025: Online Proctored Test Important Instructions

  1. Before the start of SRMJEEM 2025, the web cam will be activated automatically. If a candidate’s camera is not working, they will not be able to take the test.
  2. The candidate will have to take a photo as appearing on the screen and also asked to take a photo of any clear photo ID card.
  3. The candidate must keep his/her mobile phone handy as they may get a call from the invigilator during the test.
  4. Candidate must dress up formally for the test and log in at least 60 minutes before the exam slot.
  5. Computer/laptop is to be placed in such a way that candidate’s back is facing.
  6. No other electronic device should be placed beside the computer system.
  7. The room in which the candidate plans to take the test must be well lit (no back light) so that his/her face is clearly visible on the camera.
  8. Candidates must not allow any other person in the room while the test is underway. If the proctor or the AI system observes any additional person in the webcam view or any voices are heard, the test may be freezed.
  9. No retest will be allowed if the test is interrupted citing bad/no internet. Thus, the candidate must ensure good speed and uninterrupted internet connection during the test.
  10. Only one question appears on the screen at a time. The candidate can either answer it or skip it. Once moved to the next question, the candidate cannot go back.
  11. Candidates can submit their test only after 120 minutes of the exam.
  12. ’I want to submit the test’ button will appear only after 120 minutes is elapsed.
  13. The quit password needs to be entered to EXIT THE TEST (WHICH IS MANDATORY), which will be available in the Instruction Manual for taking the test.
  14. Test will close automatically once 150 minutes have elapsed.

Yes, you can apply for SRMJEEM. The minimum score required in graduation is 50 per cent in aggregate for all courses - MBA, MBA Banking and Financial Services, MBA Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, MBA Digital Marketing, MBA Business Analytics, MBA Health Care and Hospital Management, MBA Sports Management (Subject to approval) and MBA Financial Services (Subject to approval).

Q:   What is the duration of SRMJEEM exam?

A:

SRMJEEM exam is conducted for 2 hours and 30 minutes. There is no sectional time limit in the exam. Candidates have to solve 100 question in the given time limit so they must make the best of allotted time to score high in the exam. Solving all 100 questions is neither mandatory nor possible, so candidates must set a target for themselves in the very beginning of the exam so that they are able to attempt a good number of questions by the end.

SRMJEEM exam is an easy test. The exam syllabus and pattern is same as other MBA entrance exams so it is not difficult to crack it. Candidates who have appeared for any other national level entrance exam can easily crack SRMJEEM with basic preparation and practice.
