ATMA August Exam 2026 Application Form (OUT); Direct Link, Exam Fees, Last Date & How to fill Form

Yes, some students who are applying for the ATMA exam are eligible to avail a fee concession. Concession in the registration fee will be given to the following:

• Candidates belonging to the North Eastern states of India are given 50 percent concession on the application fee.
• 25 per cent concession will be given to women who are applying for the ATMA exam.

This means, the ATMA application fee for women is INR 1,500 and for those belonging to the North Eastern states is INR 1,000. ATMA application fee for General category students is INR 2,000.

ATMA registration is an online process. Students who wish to appear for the ATMA exam have to fill the ATMA application form online on the website of ATMA AIMS. Here are a few "DOs" that the students should follow when registering for the ATMA exam:

• Use a functional personal email ID and mobile number for ATMA registration.
• Make sure to use a valid credit or debit card or net banking details.
• Make sure that size of the scanned photograph and signature do not exceed the prescribed dimension.
• Enter correct information.
• Check the information added before submitting the application form.

The documents required while filling the ATMA registration form:

• Scanned copy of photograph
• Scanned copy of signatures
• Scanned copy of caste certificate
• Scanned copy of academic certificates and marksheets

ATMA one month preparation can be done. Students can begin with ATMA syllabus and exam pattern. There on, they can focus on practicing what they have studied. The aim should be to strengthen concepts and practice time management. The remaining time should be given to taking mock tests and soving sample papers.

AIMS conducts the ATMA exam at least three to four times a year. This year, the exam will be conducted thrice in the computer-based test mode. Here are important topics for the exam according to the sections of ATMA question paper.

Analytical Reasoning: Every year, this section is considered to be the toughest among the others. This section contains questions mainly from Analytical Reasoning and Critical Reasoning. Some of the important topics of this section include:

3. Quantitative Skills: This section of the ATMA question paper is also considered tough. However, the overall difficulty level can be considered to be moderate. Some of the important topics of this section include:

The ATMA exam is held for three hours or 180 minutes. There is only one slot for the ATMA exam. ATMA exam has a sectional time limit of 30 minutes. This means, that the candidates will have approximately one minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 30 minutes will get over, the screen will automatically move to the next section. There is no provision of changing the exam slot. And there is no provision to apply for the same. Candidates will have to appear for the exam from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must make sure that they reach the ATMA exam centre by 1:00 PM in order to complete the frisking formalities at the entry gate. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre beyond 1:30 PM.

Aspirants should start preparing for the ATMA exam at least six months before the test date. ATMA preparation requires planning thus one must start early. They can also join coaching institutes for focused preparation. Starting early will also help you assess that whether you need to join a coaching institute or not. Divide your preparation into three phases - 1. Covering the syllabus 2. Practicing mock tests, sample questions and 3. Revision. ATMA exam will be held in about 100 cities across India. Candidates can choose up to three cities as their preferred test location. The candidates should choose the test cities in order of their preference.
