Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has announced AP NEET UG counselling dates 2024 on the official website. Students willing to get admission in 85% state quota MBBS and BDS seats in Andhra Pradesh can check the AP NEET UG counselling schedule at the official website i.e. drntr.uhsap.in. The AP NEET UG counselling dates 2024 include registration dates, merit list date, seat allotment date, choice filling/locking dates and other important events about the counselling process.

The AP NEET UG counselling registration 2024 is ongoing till August 16, 2024. However, students can fill the Andhra Pradesh counselling registration form 2024 with late fee till August 19, 2024. Candidates have to pay the AP NEET UG counselling registration fee category-wise. The OC/BC candidates have to pay INR 2950/- (INR 2500/- + INR 450/- (GST @ 18%) Bank charges extra) and SC/ST candidates have to pay INR 23601- (INR 2000 + INR 360/- (GST @ 18%) Bank charges extra).

Documents Required for AP NEET UG Counselling 2024

Eligible candidates have to submit their Andhra Pradesh NEET UG counselling form through online mode only along with uploading the scanned copies of all original certificates and images of photo/signature as required. The following documents shall be kept ready. However, students must note that the following list of documents may vary category-wise. 

  • NEET UG 2024 Re-revised Rank Card.
  • Birth Certificate (SSC Marks Memo).
  • Qualifying Exam Certificate (Intermediate Marks Memo OR Equivalent — Grade Certificate not Accepted)
  • Caste Certificate
  • Academic Certificates from 6th to 10th (If Single certificate upload the same for all years as a PDF file).
  • Transfer Certificate (Intermediate / 10+2).
  • Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) Certificate.
  • Minority Certificate issued by Minority Welfare Officer
  • Parental Income Certificate/White Ration Card.
  • NCC Certificates
  • CAP Certificate
  • Any other document as required by the authorities.

Q:   Who conducts NEET counselling?
A:

The NEET counselling is segregated into two categories: central or national, and state counselling. The central counselling for NEET is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee. The NEET counselling process conducted by MCC is for the admission to the 15 per cent All India Quota seats. On the other hand, State Authorities or the Education Department of various states conduct NEET state counselling for the 85 per cent state quota seats. MCC conducts the NEET counselling for MBBS, BDS and B.Sc. Nursing courses. On the other hand, the State Counselling Authorities conduct the admission process for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and other medical or allied courses.

The eligibility criteria to participate in the NEET counselling process is given below:

a. They must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) by securing the cutoff marks as per their category

b. They must be registered on the official website of MCC

c. All candidates, including candidates from the UT of J&K, can participate in the counselling for AIQ seats and deemed universities.
