BTech at NIT Rourkela is a course of four-year duration divided into eight semesters. The institute offers BTech in 14 specialisations, such as, BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc. NIT Rourkela BTech admission is based on their JEE Main score. The centralised counselling process is managed and regulated by JoSAA based on which the seat allotment is carried out. JEE Main Registration 2024 session 2 last date was March 4. NTA released JEE Main 2024 Application form session 2 on February 2. You rank is actually very close to the cutoff.

The rankings of IIT Bhubaneswar and NIT Rourkela are different. NIT Rourkela is ranked 16th in the engineering college and IIT Bhubaneswar is ranked 47th according to NIRF ranking. and NIT Rourkella come among top 50 college in the country while IIT Bhubneshawar come among 20 indias top engineering
