
SRMJEEM exam pattern is same as other MBA entrance exam, i.e. candidates have to solve 100 MCQs in a stipulated time. SRMJEEM question paper comprises five sections – Data Interpretation, Quantitative, Reasoning, English and General Knowledge. Every question carries 3 marks.
The monde of SRMJEEM 2026 will be remote proctored mode in multiple phases. It will be conducted from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. The exam is conducted on multiple days. Candidates can select the exam day/slot as per their preference in the SRMJEEM application form 2026.

SRMJEEM 2026: Online Proctored Test Requirements
Configuration of computer/ laptop/ Internet connection for taking the test:
- Computer - Pentium IV/Dual Core, 1GB RAM or higher, 80 GB HDD or higher, 15” colour Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Microsoft Windows 10 and above Antivirus Webcam and microphone.
- A stable internet connection of at least 512 KBPS (1MBPS is preferred) shall be available throughout the test.
- Candidates can also use the mobile phone for taking the exam.
- Mobile Hotspot with sufficient data balance, incase candidates wish to use mobile data for taking the test.
SRMJEEM 2025: Online Proctored Test Important Instructions
- Before the start of SRMJEEM 2026, the web cam will be activated automatically. If a candidate’s camera is not working, they will not be able to take the test.
- The candidate will have to take a photo as appearing on the screen and also asked to take a photo of any clear photo ID card.
- The candidate must keep his/her mobile phone handy as they may get a call from the invigilator during the test.
- Candidate must dress up formally for the test and log in at least 60 minutes before the exam slot.
- Computer/laptop is to be placed in such a way that candidate’s back is facing.
- No other electronic device should be placed beside the computer system.
- The room in which the candidate plans to take the test must be well lit (no back light) so that his/her face is clearly visible on the camera.
- Candidates must not allow any other person in the room while the test is underway. If the proctor or the AI system observes any additional person in the webcam view or any voices are heard, the test may be freezed.
- No retest will be allowed if the test is interrupted citing bad/no internet. Thus, the candidate must ensure good speed and uninterrupted internet connection during the test.
- Only one question appears on the screen at a time. The candidate can either answer it or skip it. Once moved to the next question, the candidate cannot go back.
- Candidates can submit their test only after 120 minutes of the exam.
- ’I want to submit the test’ button will appear only after 120 minutes is elapsed.
- The quit password needs to be entered to EXIT THE TEST (WHICH IS MANDATORY), which will be available in the Instruction Manual for taking the test.
- Test will close automatically once 150 minutes have elapsed.
