Integrated BTech + MTech in Chemical Engineering

  • Students must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of five subjects and secured 75% marks in aggregate (aggregate marks for PwD candidates should be at least 65%) or they must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of five subjects and be within category-wise (category as per central list) top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class 12th board examination.

BTech in Chemical Engineering

  • Students must have passed Class 12 examination or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects and secured 75% marks.
  • No age limit for admission.
  • Admission is based on marks obtained in JEE Main exam.

 

M Tech in Chemical Engineering

  • Students must have passed a Bachelor's degree with at least 60% marks. They should secure 6.5 CGPA or 60% for GEN-EWS, whereas 6.0 CGPA or 55% in case of PwD candidates. mentioned CGPA/Percentage should be awarded by a recognized university. In case, result of qualifying degree is awaited, provisional admission is permitted.
  • Students must have a valid GATE score of year 2023 / 2024 / 2025.

 

PhD in Chemical Engineering

  • Students must have completed an MTech in Chemical/ Petroleum/ Environmental/ Metallurgical/ Biochemical Engineering or a related field with at least 60% marks.
  • Candidates passed B.Tech (with valid GATE) with 65% marks are also eligible.

BTech in Chemical Engineering

  • Students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English (core or elective) as a subject with 60% marks as an aggregate from any recognized board/center.

B.E. in Chemical Engineering

JEE Main Syllabus

JEE Main syllabus includes three subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Physics consists of theory as well as practical component. Chemistry consists of Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Mathematics consists of topics from Class 11th and 12th.

MHT CET Syllabus

MHT CET exam is of 300 marks which consists of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology of 100 marks each. It gives 20% weightage to syllabus of Class 11 whereas 80% weightage to Class 12th syllabus. Therefore, its syllabus is slightly different from JEE Main with respect to weightage of both exams. 

COMEDK UGET Syllabus

Similar to syllabus of JEE Main, COMEDK UGET consists of three sections-Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each section consists of 60 questions carrying 1 mark each.

BITSAT Syllabus
