JEE Advanced 2024 Question Paper Pattern
The question paper pattern for JEE Advanced Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be available after the exam is over. The JEE Advanced paper pattern is revealed to the candidates with the question paper on the exam day and are not notified beforehand.
The highlights of the JEE Advanced 2024 exam pattern are:
- The JEE Advanced 2024 exam is conducted solely in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
- It comprises two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, each lasting three hours. Both papers are mandatory.
- Each paper includes three distinct sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- The questions in the exam appear in English and Hindi languages, with a total duration of 6 hours.
- Marking schemes vary annually, with negative markings for incorrect answers. Specific details are outlined in the "Instructions to Candidates" section during the exam.

After the exam is over, candidates can check JEE Advanced 2024 answer key. The answer key available just after the exam is based on the memory-based question shared by the candidates. The official JEE Advanced 2024 answer keys and question papers will be available as per the official schedule announced by IIT Madras at jeeadv.ac.in. The official answer key will have correct answers to all questions asked in the exam. The candidates can use the official answer key and their response sheet to compare the answers and have an idea of their scores in the exam.
The JEE Advanced 2024 answer key will be also available for challenge. The challenge window will open under the respective logins of the candidates at jeeadv.ac.in. based on the challenges received, IIT Madras will make changes in the provisional official answer key, if required and publish a final answer key. The answers given in the JEE Advanced final answer key will be used to calculate the final score of the candidates for JEE Advanced results and rank preparations.
