JEE Main 2016 Topper List

The All India Ranks for JEE Main 2016 got declared recently and with that being announced the names of top rankers of JEE Main 2016 also started pouring in. 

Dipanshu Jindal from Delhi emerged as the JEE Main 2016 topper by securing an AIR 1. He was followed by Pratyush Maini(Rank 2) from Gurgaon and Rajas Bansal(Rank 3) at the second and third position respectively.

While, there is no girl in the top 10 list of JEE Main 2016 rank holders, the 11th position i.e. the 11th rank has been secured by a female candidate Ryali Gayathri from Telangana. CBSE announced the JEE Main 2016 scores on April 27, 2016 on its official website.

Yes, students may get a seat in NIT Puducherry BTech with 92 percentile in JEE Main through JoSAA counselling. The cutoff is high for specialisations, such as CSE. DIT University BTech admissions are not possible without the JEE Main scores. DIT Institute Dehradun admission to courses other than the BTech is based on merit & entrance test scores. The accepted entrance exams are MAT, XAT,  CAT, CMAT,  UKSEE, etc.

Yes, the JEE Main 2026 January question papers have been released. The official papers were made available with the response sheet of the candidates under their respective logins on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in.

If a question is dropped in the JEE Main exam, then the candidates of the shift from which the question is dropped will get bonus marks. It does not matter if you attempted the question or not. If a question from your shift is dropped then you will be eligible for +4 bonus marks.

Yes, you can wear a hijab in the JEE Mains exam as it is considered a religious item. However, you will likely undergo enhanced security checks at the exam centre.

The SUPR section is comparable to JEE Main, but REAP section is considered challenging as it requires creative thinking and "out-of-box" problem solving. It can be compared to the Olympiad level questions.
