JEE Main 2021 Paper 2 (BArch) exam for the first shift begins today from 9 am across 331 test centres across the country and abroad. Around 11 lakh candidates are appearing for JEE Main 2021 from February 23 to 26. The morning shift is being held from 9 am to 12 pm while the second shift to begin from 3 pm to 6 pm. This year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the JEE Main 2021 exam in four sessions - February, March April and May. Amidst this COVID-19 pandemic, it is important for all candidates appearing in the test to check all the JEE Main 2021 exam day instructions and guidelines released by NTA to avoid any last-minute mistakes. All the COVID-19 safety measures are being taken at the JEE Main 2021 exam centres including frisking from a distance, social distancing and hand sanitiser.
The authority has released an advisory regarding the COVID-19 outbreak safety which is to be strictly followed by the candidates and examination staff at the JEE Main 2021 exam centre.
Important points to remember for JEE Main 2021 exam
- The JEE Main admit card 2021 is an important document that must be carried to the examination hall.
- Candidates have to carry the admit card along with the Undertaking duly signed,
- face mask and gloves
- personal hand sanitiser (50 ml),
- transparent water bottle
- ballpoint pen
- a valid ID proof
- and passport size photograph to the examination hall
Note: For the drawing test of JEE Main Paper 2 BArch students, the candidates must bring all their Geometry set and all other required items. Watercolours on the drawing sheet are not allowed.

The JEE Main 2021 answer key by various coaching institutes will be available online after the conclusion of the test. Candidates can match their marked answers with the unofficial JEE Main 2021 answer key to know the correct and incorrect responses. JEE Main 2021 Paper 1 exam will be held in online mode while JEE Main 2021 Paper 2 BArch is being held in both online and “Pen & Paper” (offline) modes. No, interview round for BSc admission at BIT Mesra is part of BITCHEM which is not required for candidates who are open to pusuing BSc at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. Candidates who apply through JEE Main will not be required to appear in BITCHEM.

Candidates wishing to take admission in BTech at IIIT Bhagalpur have to appear in JEE Main. Along with that, candidates also have to participate in JOSAA/ CSAB counselling process. Seat allocation is done when candidates clear cutoff ranks released on the official JoSAA website.

Candidates wishing to take admission in BTech at Ramaiah Institute of Science and Management have to appear in JEE Main, JEE Advanced, CUET-UG, SAT, KCET, COMEDK. So, yes even if you have not appeared in JEE, you can produce score card of any of the above mentioned exams.

The East Point Group of Institutions accepts many exams for the BE course. The accepted exams are JEE Main, COMEDK, and KCET. Students can appear in any of these exams to get admission at EPGI. Students need to fulfil the eligibility criteria as well.

With 57.8 percentile in JEE Main and 73% boards, getting CSE/AI in top government colleges is unlikely. But you still have good chances in private colleges through UPTAC/AKTU or direct admission.
