JEE Main 2021 Paper 2 (BArch) exam for the first shift begins today from 9 am across 331 test centres across the country and abroad. Around 11 lakh candidates are appearing for JEE Main 2021 from February 23 to 26. The morning shift is being held from 9 am to 12 pm while the second shift to begin from 3 pm to 6 pm. This year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the JEE Main 2021 exam in four sessions - February, March April and May. Amidst this COVID-19 pandemic, it is important for all candidates appearing in the test to check all the JEE Main 2021 exam day instructions and guidelines released by NTA to avoid any last-minute mistakes. All the COVID-19 safety measures are being taken at the JEE Main 2021 exam centres including frisking from a distance, social distancing and hand sanitiser.
The authority has released an advisory regarding the COVID-19 outbreak safety which is to be strictly followed by the candidates and examination staff at the JEE Main 2021 exam centre.
Important points to remember for JEE Main 2021 exam
- The JEE Main admit card 2021 is an important document that must be carried to the examination hall.
- Candidates have to carry the admit card along with the Undertaking duly signed,
- face mask and gloves
- personal hand sanitiser (50 ml),
- transparent water bottle
- ballpoint pen
- a valid ID proof
- and passport size photograph to the examination hall
Note: For the drawing test of JEE Main Paper 2 BArch students, the candidates must bring all their Geometry set and all other required items. Watercolours on the drawing sheet are not allowed.

No. There is no qualifying percentile in JEE Main. However, the candidates who want to appear in JEE Advanced will have to get a minimum qualifying percentile in JEE Mains. This minimum qualifying percentile is announced with the JEE Main session 2 reult.
