National Testing Agency (NTA) has added three cities to the list of exam centres for the Joint Entrance Exam or JEE Main 2021. Read below to know the details.
JEE Main 2021: The next three sessions of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 will be held at three more centres informed by NTA through a notification on the official site. The three new exam centres include one Indian and two overseas centres.
The three new JEE Main exam centres will be located at Kargil, Ladakh, India; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and Abuja/Lagos in Nigeria. The step has been taken by the NTA after requests from candidates and keeping in view the hardships faced by them due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates appearing in the March, April and May sessions of the exam will be able to choose from the above three along with the other centres while filling the JEE Main 2021 application form.

The application window for the March session has already been made available by the exam conducting authority on March 2 and will continue till March 6. Those candidates who have already registered for the upcoming sessions will be allowed to modify their particulars – city, session, subject, etc. – during this application window.
The March and April sessions of JEE Main will only be conducted for BTech (paper-1) aspirants. Candidates aspiring for Paper-2A (BArch) and 2B (BPlanning) will be able during the May session. Candidates have the option to apply for one session or more than one session (March /April /May 2021) together and pay the exam fee accordingly.
NTA conducted JEE Main February exams from February 23 to 26 on all exam days. In the first session, the exam was held for Engineering (BE/BTech), Architecture (BArch) and Planning (BPlanning) aspirants. JEE Main 2021 answer key (provisional) was released on March 2. It is expected that the JEE Main 2021 result for the February session will soon be announced by the authority.
