Pravar is elated about his JEE Main result 2021, but he is also focused on his upcoming JEE Advanced exam. Shiksha.com spoke to Pravar to know his success story. He was one of the JEE Main 2021 Toppers from the March session. He wants to build a successful career at IIT Bombay and pursue Computer Science Engineering.

Q. How are you feeling to receive JEE Main 2021 AIR 3? Was the JEE Main 2021 May Session your first attempt?

A. I had studied really hard for this JEE Main 2021 session. I was expecting to do well. I had told my parents that I would score well. What I had not expected was to get a 100 percentile. This was way over my expectations so yes, I am very excited. Unfortunately, this is not my first attempt. I had taken the exam back in March 2021 as well.

A. When I had decided to sit for the JEE Main, I knew that I would have to start preparing for it. I was in Class XI when I joined a coaching institute. In the beginning, all the coaching classes were held offline. But when the lockdown happened last year, the classes shifted online. My mentors really helped me a lot.

Yes, many Engineering colleges in Mumbai accept JEE Main scores under the All India quota. JEE Main seats are limited in number compared to MHT CET seats. Maharashtra state candidates mostly use MHT CET scores, while candidates from other states can apply using JEE Main.
