JEE Main 2026 Result Date Session 1: Past Year's Trends

According to the official notification, the JEE Main 2026 result is expected to be released by Feb 17. That means, it can be out anytime between Feb 7 - 12. Students can check past-year trends of JEE Mains result dates below -

NTA JEE Main Session 1 Result Date: Stages of Result Announcement

JEE Mains result 2026 is prepared based on final answer key data, and will be announced on the given date. The stages involved in the process before releasing JEE Main result are as follows -

  • NTA first releases JEE Mains session 1 provisional answer key and response sheet. The answer key and response sheet are now available on the official website. 
  • Students are offered a chance to challenge against the official answer key of JEE Main 2026. The last date to challenge JEE Mains answer key is Feb 6 (11:50 pm). 
  • After the submission of objections, the authorities will review the responses, and announce the final answer key. 
  • Based on JEE Mains final answer key, the result will be declared on the given NTA JEE Main 2026 result date session 1, which is between Feb 7 to 12.

How to check JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result?

Students must note that result of JEE Mains 2026 session 1 will be available online only on its official website. There are no other websites where one can check their result. The JEE Main result will determine the qualifying status of the applicant, and the process to check results is as follows -

  • Go to the official website
  • Look for the link that says “result of JEE Main” or “View scorecard” on homepage
  • Enter login credentials - application number and password (date of birth/password)
  • Provide security pin
  • The JEE Main scorecard will be displayed on screen
  • Check result, download scorecard and take printout.

Along with result, NTA will announce the list of JEE Main toppers of JEE Main 2026 result date session 1. Candidates who have scored 100 percentile in the exam will be termed as “JEE Main 2026 session 1 toppers.” In addition, NTA will release toppers for the following categories -

  • All-India Toppers
  • State-wise Toppers
  • Category-wise Toppers
  • Gender-wise Toppers

Overall, the topper’s list will have candidate’s name, state, and percentile details.

What after JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result?

After the announcement of JEE Main result 2026 session 1, students can either register for JoSAA counselling for admission to IIITs, NITs, or GFTIs or apply to various state-level counsellings. On the other hand, the top 2.5 lakh candidates who pass the JEE Main cutoff mark 2026 for JEE Advanced can register JEE Advanced for IIT admissions

Q:   What is CRL in JEE Main result?
A:
CRL stands for the Common Rank List. NTA releases the cutoff in several categories one of which is CRL. Basically, CRL means unreserved category. Candidates belonging to unreserved category need to have JEE Main cutoff equal to or more than the CRL cutoff. The other categories for which cutoff is released are Gen-EWS, Open-PwD, OBC-NCL, SC and ST.

The NTA will announce JEE Main Result 2026 around 10 days after the conclusion of the exam. Candidates can download the JEE Main result 2026 scorecard online. JEE Main result login link 2026 will be available on the wesbite jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2026 result scorecard will have details of candidate percentile score in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and the aggreate percentile score. JEE Mains 2026 result will be released separately for both sessions.

Q:   What details will be printed on JEE Main final result?

Candidates will be able to check these details on the JEE Main scorecard:

JEE Main Application Number, JEE Main Roll Number, Name & Date of Birth, Qualifying Status, All India Rank secured by a candidate in the exam, category-wise All India Rank (AIR) of the Candidate, Subject-wise scores, aggregate score in all three subjects of both sessions. You can download your Joint Entrance Examination-Main Result from the official website. The official website is jeemain.nta.nic.in. Note that, there is no provision to re-evaluate/re-check JEE Main result.

Q:   Can I request for rechecking of my JEE Main result?
A:

No, you cannot request rechecking of the JEE Main result. NTA will not accept any request from candidates in regards to re-evaluation of the scores.

The the easiest shift of the JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam was January 28, shift 2. The JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam was held in 10 shifts. To overcome the difficulty level differences, NTA will normalise the scores of the candidates.
