NTA JEE Main Session 1 Result Date: Stages of Result Announcement
JEE Mains result 2026 is prepared based on final answer key data, and will be announced on the given date. However, some sources have stated that the result will made live in evening of Feb 12 and final keys will be released in the early morning. However, NTA has not mentioned any official time. The stages involved in the process before releasing JEE Main result are as follows -
- NTA first releases JEE Mains session 1 provisional answer key and response sheet.
- Students were offered a chance to challenge against the official answer key of JEE Main 2026. The last date to challenge JEE Mains answer key was Feb 6 (11:50 pm).
- After the submission of objections, the authorities will review the responses, and announce the JEE Mains final answer key.
- Based on JEE Mains final answer key, the result will be declared on the given NTA JEE Main 2026 result date session 1, which is between Feb 16 (REVISED)

How to check JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result?
Students must note that result of JEE Mains 2026 session 1 is available online only on its official website. There are no other websites where one can check their result. The JEE Main result will determine the qualifying status of the applicant, and the process to check results is as follows -
- Go to the official website
- Look for the link that says “result of JEE Main” or “View scorecard” on homepage
- Enter login credentials - application number and password (date of birth/password)
- Provide security pin
- The JEE Main scorecard will be displayed on screen
- Check result, download scorecard and take printout.

JEE Main Toppers 2026 of Session 1
Along with result, NTA will announce the list of JEE Main toppers of JEE Main 2026 result date session 1. Candidates who have scored 100 percentile in the exam will be termed as “JEE Main 2026 session 1 toppers.” In addition, NTA will release toppers for the following categories -
- All-India Toppers
- State-wise Toppers
- Category-wise Toppers
- Gender-wise Toppers
Overall, the topper’s list will have candidate’s name, state, and percentile details.

No. There is no qualifying percentile in JEE Main. However, the candidates who want to appear in JEE Advanced will have to get a minimum qualifying percentile in JEE Mains. This minimum qualifying percentile is announced with the JEE Main session 2 reult.
JAC Delhi counselling dates can be checked on the official website. This year, there are 4 rounds and 1 upgradation round.
The JEE Main result remains valid for the current admission session only. JEE Main result announced in 2027 can be used for admission to colleges in 2027 only.
