JEE Main 2021 Application Form: Important Points to Remember
- Candidates must keep the following points in mind before filling the JEE Main application form:
- JEE Main will be conducted in four sessions this year: February, March, April and May. Candidates have the flexibility to fill the application form for one session, all the sessions or sessions of their choice.
- Candidates have to fill the JEE Main application form 2021 for the sessions of their choice by the last date i.e. January 16, 2021.
- Candidates are required to enter the details of their Aadhaar card while filling the application form of JEE Main 2021.
- It is to note here that the candidates who have passed 10+2 in the years 2019 and 2020 along with the candidates appearing in 2021 are only allowed to apply for the JEE Main 2021.
- The National Testing Agency (NTA) has also started an initiative of Common Service Center (CSC) to help the candidates who are not so familiar with the online form filling process of the JEE Main 2021. The centres will help candidates understand the procedure and guide them through the entire procedure.
Requirements to fill the JEE Main 2021 Application Form
Candidates must have to be ready with the things mentioned below before filling the JEE Main application form:
- A good internet connection
- Valid Email ID and Phone Number
- Scanned copy of Aadhar Card
- Recent Passport Size Scanned Photograph
- Class 10 marks sheet
- Class 12 marks sheet
- Details of Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking for online payment
JEE Main 2021 Application Form: Steps to fill
Registration: Candidates must register themselves on the official portal of JEE Main 2021 i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in before filling the application form. Students will be required to enter their details such as name, date of birth, Gender, and Nationality etc. to register for the JEE Main.
Filling the JEE Main application form online: After successful registration of JEE Main 2021, candidates will be redirected to the new page, where they will need to enter personal and academic details such as father's and mother's name, guardian name, occupation, income, exam applying for, examination Mode, UIDAI (Aadhaar card number), year of passing, board, percentage, marks, roll number etc. After entering all the details, candidates must check them once, then click on the 'Submit' tab. A registration number/ID will be generated after the final submission.
Uploading Scanned Documents: In this step, candidates will need to upload the scanned copies of all the required documents such as photograph, signature, academic documents in the given format and size. Reserved category candidates will also be required to upload the scanned copy of Caste Certificate.

After the payment, candidates can submit their application form. After successfully submitting the JE Main 2021 application form, candidates must take a print out for future references.
JEE Main 2021 Application Form Correction
Applicants who will successfully fill in and submit the JEE Main application form 2021 will be allowed to make corrections in it from January 19 to 21. It must be noted that not all the sections of information provided in the form can be edited at the candidates’ end. Other than exam cities, JEE Main aspirants will be allowed to change details like category, language, name, image, etc. After the scheduled dates, candidates will not be allowed to change anything on the JEE Main application form.

- Click on the ‘Login For Image Correction’ icon
- Enter your Application Number, Password and Security Pin to log in
- Look for the ‘Manage form particulars correction’ tab
- Click on the tab
