JEE Mains application 2021 correction window for April exam has opened at jeemain.nta.nic.in on March 25. Candidates can check details about JEE Mains correction in application form 2021 and more below.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the JEE Main 2021 application/image correction facility for April session started on March 25. Candidates can now login using their JEE Main application number and password to upload their correct photograph in case they had made a mistake while submitting the application form. Through the correction facility, the candidates will be able to correct mistakes/modify details in their filled in JEE Main 2021 application form online until April 4. To edit/modify mistakes in JEE Main application form 2021, candidates have to enter their application number and date of birth on the JEE Main login window. JEE Main 2021 application correction window will be available to edit/change/update particulars in JEE Main 2021 application form and city choices of JEE Main exam centres. Aspirants will be able to change the host of other details like name of the candidate, contact/address details, category, PwD status, educational qualification details, date of birth, choice of exam cities, etc during the process. Any request for a change in such particulars after the closure of the correction period will not be considered by NTA under any circumstances.

Candidates must note that the additional fee (wherever applicable) must be paid either through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM.

JEE Main Image Correction Window 2021- Steps to edit mistakes

  • Step 1- Go to the JEE Main official website
  • Step 2- Select the link referring to “Image Correction JEE (Main) 2021”
  • Step 3- Enter the application form number and password to log in
  • Step 4- Upload the corrected photo as per the NTA guidelines and click on “submit”

How to make corrections in JEE Main application form 2021?

Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Main 2021 - https://jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Navigate and hit the “JEE Main Correction in Application Form 2021 link” tab.

Step 3: Enter your Application Number, Password and Security Pin on the login window.

Step 5: Read the detailed instructions.

Step 6: JEE Main 2021 application form will be displayed on the screen. Edit the information and make the changes if required.

Step 7: After making all the necessary changes click on the Submit button.

Note: 

  • Candidates who apply for more than one Session of examination (February/March/April/May), may change their choice of cities in the JEE Mains 2021 correction window, which will be opened in due course under intimation to them through a public notice for each session. 
  • Corrections sent by the candidate through Post/Fax/WhatsApp/Email/by Hand will not be entertained by the authority

Details that can be edited during JEE Main 2021 Application Correction Window

  • Name of the candidate, date of birth, state of eligibility: Candidates can edit/change their name, date of birth, state of eligibility in the filled in JEE Main application form as per their Class 10/12 mark-sheet
  • Personal details: Candidates will be able to change their personal details in case of spelling/incorrect data provided earlier
  • Photograph/Image: Candidates can make changes in the uploaded photograph, document and signature or documents during the JEE Mains 2021 application correction window
  • Paper: Candidates will be allowed to change the choice of papers in JEE Main 2021 exam. The changes can be made from Paper 1 to Paper 2 or vice versa.
  • Category of the candidate: Aspirants will be able to change their category from SC/ST/Girls/PwD to General/OBC NCL. An additional fee might be charged by the authority.
  • Language of the paper: Aspirants can change the medium of examination to any of the 13 languages - Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu in addition to Hindi, Gujarati and English as per their choice.
  • Educational details: Candidates can correct/modify any information related to the academic details in the appplication form.
  • Contact details: Aspirants will be able to edit/change/update their address of communication. The contact number filled by candidates in JEE Main 2021 application form can be edited/changed/updated.
