JEE Advanced 2017 for admissions to the premier IITs almost a week away. According to R.L.Trikha, FIITJEE Director, in the last few days before the exam, aspirants should switch to some smart revision tactics. He says, “Quick revision of theory /illustrations from flagged notes devoting equal time to all three subjects should be done. Formulas at a glance chapter-wise and subject-wise should be revised and memorised”.
“Aspirants should only go through questions with tricks and innovative way of solving those problems from notes made earlier and for the occasion when practising questions from fundamentals/initial principles although during years of preparation. No new questions should be attempted in last 3 days”, he further adds.

Besides these, here are more ways to make your JEE Advanced 2017 preparations effective in the last few days on the exam.
- Go through the formulas atleast once. Take a rough paper and jot down all the formulae, which you know, without seeing.
- After this, solve some JEE Advanced previous years papers and sample papers
- Do not start anything new. Revise what you already know. Do not waste time in learning topics
- Solve question papers like you are actually taking the exam; in restricted time with limited rough paper.
- Try to solve one paper daily. Then check where have you gone wrong.
- Stop stressing yourself two days before the exam. Just relax. Study but not too much. Solve questions, but not extremely difficult ones. This will help you boost your confidence.
- Be focused and motivated. Do not let yourself stray from your aim and dream.
- Enjoy what you are doing. Do not take your preparation as a burden.
- Take a good sleep a day before the exam.
- Watch a movie of your choice which inspires you in a positive way.Don't get experimental over the selection of movie,it can ruin your mood.
- Do not talk about your preparation with your friends.
- If you wish, you could spend some time playing your favourite sport.
