GATE 2026 Dates: COAP Registrations Ongoing, CCMT Schedule (OUT), Result Declared

The GATE counselling process starts after the announcement of results. The GATE counselling is conducted by COAP and CCMT. The COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) is the counselling portal that offers admission to IITs. 

While CCMT (Centralised Counselling for MTech/M.Arch/M.Plan) is the counselling portal that offers admission to NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs. 

COAP and CCMT 2026 counselling dates are now available for all rounds.

IIT Guwahati has started the GATE 2026 registration process on August 28. The application form facility is open at the GOAPS portal. The deadline has been revised. As per the latest update, candidates who want to apply for GATE can check the dates and submit as per their convenience. The last date to submit the application form without late fees is October 6 (revised) and till October 9 with late fees. 

The last date to register for GATE 2026 with late fees was October 13. For submission with late fees, the application form window  remained active from October 7 to October 13. The registration fee with late fees is as follows -

• For female/SC/ST and PwD candidates, the fee is INR 1500
• For all other candidates, including foreign nationals, the fee is INR 2500

Yes, but within the timeline mentioned by the GATE authorities. IIT Guwahati has started the registration process for GATE 2026. The authorities provide two timelines to submit the application form: with late fees and without late fees. The last date to register for GATE 2026 without late fees have been revised from September 28 to October 6. The GATE candidate login 2026 link is now activated for the application form process. Candidates who want to apply must visit the GATE's official website and register to receive an enrollment ID and password and apply within the mentioned dates. 

GATE application form correction process usually start in November. uring the correction facility, candidates will be able to change a few particulars, such as exam city, category, exam centre, etc

IIT Guwahati has activated the GATE admit card 2026 link on the website gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Candidates can download their admit card at GOAPS portal using their enrollment ID and password. 

The GATE 2026 cutoff will be released soon on official website. IIT Guwahati announced the GATE 2026 result on March 19. The cutoff is different for each subject/branch and varies every year. 

IIT Guwahati conducted GATE 2026 exam on Feb 7 and 8 in two shifts. Then on Feb 14 and 15 in two shifts. The exam timings are - forenoon (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and afternoon - 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Branch-wise exam dates has been released on official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
