Students who take the BITSAT exam can check their scores immediately after the exam. Later, BITS Pilani releases the moderated scores through the BITSAT result 2026. The moderated scores are mentioned on the scorecard. The BITSAT score card for session 2 will be released soon. To download it candidates have to follow the instructions.

What After BITSAT Result 2026?
After the announcement of BITSAT result, the next step is counselling. The authorities activate the BITSAT preference form link after the announcement of session 1 results. During the BITSAT counselling 2026, students have to submit their class 12 qualifying marks, and fill out their preferred choices of courses and campuses (Pilani, Goa, or Hyderabad) in order of preference. Seats are then allocated through multiple rounds called 'iterations' based on BITSAT scores, preferences, and seat availability. Once a seat is allotted, students have to pay the admission fees and verify their documents to confirm their admission.
There is a direct admission scheme for board topper who can get admission to the campus without having to appear for BITSAT.

How is BITSAT 2026 Result Calculated: Tie Breaking Guidelines
Admissions into programmes offered by different campuses of BITS are completely based on merit and the scores acquired by candidates in the BITSAT 2026. Here, the candidates also need to ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria related to the minimum marks to be obtained in the Class XII Board examination or equivalent qualifying exam. In a situation wherein two or more candidates have the same BITSAT score, a tie-breaker will be done as per the below-mentioned rules:
- Scores of candidates in Mathematics/Biology (For BPharm) subjects in BITSAT will be considered for preparing the merit list.
- If the tie still exists, then the score of candidates in the Physics section of the BITSAT will be considered for preparing the merit list.
- If the tie still exists, then the score of candidates in the Chemistry section of BITSAT would be taken into consideration.
- If the tie still exists, then the total marks of candidates in their Class 12 examination in PCM/PCB (for BPharm) will be taken into consideration.
BITSAT 2026 Cutoff
The BITSAT cutoff is the minimum score required by candidates to secure admission into various undergraduate engineering and pharmacy programmes at BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. Rather than a single qualifying mark, BITS Pilani releases separate branch-wise and campus-wise cutoffs at the end of the iterations or seat allotment rounds. These cutoffs fluctuate every year based on several factors, including the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of applicants, and seat availability. Highly competitive branches, such as Computer Science Engineering (CSE), demand much higher scores.

During BITSAT counselling, students will be allotted according to rank and preferences. Allotment result will be announced in form of iterations. Once students are allotted, they will have to confirm their admission.
Yes. There will be no separate counselling process for the different BITS campuses. Students will have to participate in the centralized counselling for admissions into their preferred campuses. The list of preferences have to be submitted during counselling for allotment.
Students who are 12th standard board toppers are eligible for direct admissions through BITSAT counselling. These students do not require a BITSAT score and will be eligible based on their board exam performance. Basic eligibility criteria has to be met.
