Overview

KCET Application Form 2027: Karnataka Education Authority (KEA) will relese KCET 2027 application form in January/February 2027 tentatively. Candidates meeting KCET eligibility criteria 2027 will be able to apply till last date. To register, they will have to visit official platform - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.

Only those candidates who successfully submit the form will be issued KCET admit card to appear in exam. To successfully submit the application form, students will have to pay the KCET application fee via debit/credit card or UPI. The exam body will also open the KCET application form correction facility for candidates who might have made any errors unknowingly while filling the application form. How to fill KCET Application Form 2027?

Karnataka Examinations Authority releases the KCET application form in online mode. For KCET 2027 registration, students must fill in details, upload photos, a signature, and a thumb impression, and submit the final submission.

Steps to Fill the KCET Application Form 2027 

  • Go to the KCET official website. 
  • Click on “New User? Click Here for KCET registration 2027”. 
  • Fill in the required information, such as the 13-digit ‘student number’ issued by the PUE department if you are going to appear in the 2nd PUC examination, and then click on the “submit” button. 
  • After the applicants need to fill in their name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, security question, and security code, and submit the details in the KCET application form. 
  • After successful KCET 2027 registration, candidates will receive their application number and User-ID to their registered mobile phone number and email ID. 
  • Candidates should log in to their account by using their user ID and password. 
  • Fill in “Student information” by entering the required information and save the entries. 
  • After that, fill in educational details and then click on the “save and next” button. 
  • Then upload scanned images of the candidate's photograph, the candidate's signature, the candidate's left-hand thumb impression, and the parent's signature in the KCET 2027 application form. 

KCET 2027 Application Form - Final Submission 

  • Candidates will receive an application ID and password to their registered email address after completion of the KCET 2027 registration. 
  • In the next step, applicants need to upload the scanned copy of the recent passport-size color photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format separately. 
  • Take the printout of the triplicate “Challan Copy” and pay the requisite fee in any of the branches of specified banks. The bank will retain its copy and hand over the remaining copies. 
  • Candidates can also pay the prescribed fee through net banking. 
  • Take the printout of the application form of KCET 2027 on an A-4 size sheet of paper. 
  • Affix a recent passport-size photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression to the space provided. 
  • Obtain the Principal's seal and signature from the college where you studied 2nd PU or Class 12. 
  • Candidates have to produce the same copy along with the copy of the Challan (KEA Copy) during document verification.

KCET Eligibility Criteria

Karnataka Examinations Authority uploads the KCET eligibility criteria 2027. Applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form of KCET 2027. KEA releases the KCET eligibility criteria separately for all the courses. The KCET application form 2027 will be rejected in case any candidate fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria at the time of admission. Important Points To Remember While Filling KCET Form 2027

The process of KCET registration is completely online. Candidates filling the KCET registration form must adhere to the points mentioned here while applying for the exam.

  • Candidates must be careful with the details they fill in the application form, as incorrect details can lead to cancellation of their candidature.
  • Dimension and size of scanned images of photo and signature must be within specifications mentioned in the information brochure.
  • Size and fomat of scanned document like SC/ST/OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS, PwD/PwBD certificate certificate or UDID card must be as per the specification.
  • Candidates must make sure that their photo in Aadhaar matches with their current appearance/look. In case of mismatch, candidates will not be able to complete the KCET Registration 2027.

Candidates must select the exam city preference carefully while filling the application form. Choice of centre cities will be limited to the state of Karnataka and in certain cases, only one option may also be available based on the address criteria. Filling Wrong Details: Candidates must be very careful with the spellings when filling personal details like name, parents name and their email ID. These could lead to cancellation of application form. Also, details related to educational qualification, present/permanent address must be filled correctly.

Providing Incorrect/Inactive Mobile Number: Is is very important that candidates provide the mobile number that they are using currently. If candidates don't have mobile, they must provide their parents mobile number in registration. 

Uploading Blurry Images: Candidates must use the recent photo with clear white background in registration. The face should appear clear in the photo and it must be within the permissible size, format and dimension.

Selection of Distant Exam City: Candidates must choose the city wisely to avoid long distance travel for appearing in the exam.
