Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) is conducted annually by Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education. The entrance examination is held to provide eligibility to the candidates for lateral admissions into the 2nd year regular BE/BTech courses offered by the participating institutes of the state. However, the counselling process is conducted by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education. 

To be registered for TS ECET, the candidates have to first pay the application fee. For the general category, the TS ECET application fee is INR 900, while the candidates belonging to the SC/ST and PH category will have to pay INR 500. No other mode of fee payment will be accepted by the authorities.

For TS ECET Pharmacy, candidates have to study topics from four subjects - Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology and Toxicology. For each section, the candidates will have to answer 50 objective multiple-choice questions each. A total of 3 hours will be provided to the candidates to complete the entrance examination. No extra time will be provided to the candidates to complete the examination.

Since the candidates will have to answer separate Engineering question papers as per the choice of subject, the candidates will be able to choose the mock test that will have questions from their chosen branch. The questions from Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry will be common. Candidates are advised to check the official TS ECET pattern to learn more about the subjects that need to be studied for the examination.

The authorities have not announced any official details regarding how the print outs of TS ECET admit card should be. Candidates can carry either black and white or coloured print outs of the TS ECET hall ticket to the examination centre. However, the candidates will be required to present a physical copy of the admit card, otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the centre. No soft copies of the admit card will accepted by the authorities.

To download the TS ECET admit card, candidates have to use their registration number, qualifying examination hall ticket number and date of birth. Without the credentials, the candidates will not be able to log in and access the admit card of TS ECET. 

No. The authorities will not accept soft copies of TS ECET admit card. Candidates will be required to download and print out the TS ECET hall ticket to present at the examination centre. If the candidates show their hall ticket digitally i.e., through their mobile phones, then they will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. Candidates are advised to read the exam day guidelines carefully before reporting at the centre for the entrance examination.

Yes. Candidates can raise objections against the provisional TS ECET answer key. In case the candidates find any mistakes in the answer key, they will be able to submit their objections online. To access the objection facility, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. No other mode will be used to release the TS ECET answer key. 

TS ECET 2025 answer key 2025 has been released. The correct answers to the question paper are available through the TS ECET answer key. Along with the TS ECET answer key, the candidates will also be able to access the official question paper and individual response sheet. While no login credentials will be required to access the TS ECET 2025 answer key and question paper, the candidates will have to log in to check their individual response sheet and raise objections.

Candidates can access their TS ECET response sheet online at ecet.tsche.ac.in. Students will have to log in using their ECET hall ticket number, registration number and date of birth to check their response sheet.

The TS ECET result will be announced online a few days after the exam. The authorities will release the result in the form of the TS ECET rank card. Important details such as the candidate's rank, scores, qualifying status and more are available on the result.

TS ECET result wil be released online for all candidates. No other mode will be used to declare the result of TS ECET. The candidates will be able to download the result in the form of a rank card by following the given steps.

The authorities follow certain guidelines and process in case two or more candidates secure the same ranks in TS ECET. Firstly, the candidates who have secured more marks in the Engineering subject will be allotted higher. If the tie still persists, then the marks secured in Mathematics, followed by Physics will be taken into account. If the candidates have secured the same marks in all the four subjects, then the candidate who is older in age will be allotted the higher rank.

TS ECET registration process will open online at tsecet.nic.in. To participate in the counselling process, the candidates are required to complete the registration process before the final date. Separate registration process will  open for every round of TS ECET counselling. To be registered for the counselling of TS ECET, the candidates have to log in using the required credentials and pay the processing fee online i.e., credit card/debit card/net banking. TS ECET 2025 counselling dates have been announced online. TS ECET 2025 counselling process is being conducted in online mode, TS ECET counselling registration process for final phase was open from July 11 to 13, 2025. Candidates are advised to be updated with the counselling schedule so that they do not miss out on any important event.

There will be four sections in the TS ECET paper - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering Paper. While Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are common for all, the candidates will be able to select their Engineering Paper (Civil/Electrical & Electronics/Mechanical/Electronics & Communication /Computer Science/Chemical/Metallurgical/Mining/Electronics & Instrumentation/Bio-Technology). Select four regional exam centres in the order of preference from the list since you will be allotted an exam centre from this list. Yes, if the candidates miss the final date to submit the TS ECET application form, then the authorities will accept applications with a late fee. The application form of TS ECET can be filled out and submitted by paying the additional late fee of INR 500 and INR 1000. The official dates for the late submission of TS ECET 2025 application form has been announced. After the final late fee date, the authorities will not accept applications from the candidates.

Candidates must study the entire TS ECET syllabus. However, candidates can allot more time and give more attention to the important topics or those topics that are likely to have more weightage in the question paper. For Pharmacy admissions, the scores secured in the qualifying exam will be considered if two or more candidates have secured the same rank in TS ECET. If the tie is still not resolved, the authorities will allot a higher rank to the candidate who is older.

Osmania University on behalf TSCHE has released the TS ECET 2025 exam date at the official website. Applicants can check TS ECET exam date at ecet.tsche.ac.in. TS ECET 2025 exam was conducted in online computer based mode on May 12. Applicants appearing in the exam had to carry their TS ECET admit card 2025 along with one valid photo ID proof to the exam centre on exam day.  

The TS ECET application form date will be notified soon. While filling the application form candidates have to provide their personal, academic and contact details. The application fee also has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/APOnline/TSOnline.

Osmania University on behalf of TSCHE has released the TS ECET 2025 application form at the official website. In case the session expires at the time of filling TS ECET application form, applicants can re-login to fill the form. The details filled by candidates will remain saved in the login window. The last date to fill TS ECET application form is April 7. Candidates are advised to fill all the details carefully in TS ECET form 2025.  

If you are filling TS ECET application form, upload maximum 50KB passport-size photograph and 30KB signature in jpg/jpeg format. If you don't upload required-size documents, application form will be rejected by authorities.
