IIM CAT 2024 registration has started. MBA aspirants can apply for the national level MBA entrance exam from today till September 13, 2024. CAT 2024 exam will be held on November 24, 2024. The exam will be held in 170 cities across India, to felicitate candidates from every part of the country to appear for it easily. The CAT application form 2024 is available at iimcat.ac.in website. To apply for the CAT 2024, candidates will have to register to create a login ID.

CAT 2024 registration and form filling process is a one-time activity and details filled in are verified by the examination authority. Thus, candidates must fill the CAT 2024 carefully. Here are a few points to note before filling up the CAT 2024 application form:
- The link to register for CAT is iimcat.ac.in
- Web-browser to use for CAT 2024 form filling are: Mozilla (version 94 to 112), Google Chrome (88 to 113) or Microsoft Edge (88 to 113).
- The CAT 2024 Application Form is compatible with Android (version 4.0 and above) and iOS (version 11 and above). So, candidates can fill the form on smart phones too.
- Candidates must provide Correct Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number andEmail Address as these details cannot be changed once the registration is complete.
- Candidates can select only 5 cities for test centre allotment. They must select their home town or city of residence as the first option as the examination authority strives to allot the test centre in the city of first preference for the convenience of candidates.
- Academic and all personal details have to be filled in correctly as those fields are non-editable after CAT 2024 form submission.
- The CAT registration fees has been increased from INR 2400 to INR 2500 for General category candidates and from INR 1200 to INR 1250 to SC/ST/PwD candidates.
- The fee payment process is to be completed by September 13, 2024 (the last date of form submission) as until the fee is paid, candidate registration will remain incomplete.
- During the CAT 2024 form correction process, only image, signature and test cities can be edited.

Yes, candidates can fill out the CAT application form on one day and pay the fee on another day, as it is not mandatory to register for the CAT exam, fill out the application form, or pay the fee in one go. The registration and application window will remain open for candidates who have registered for the exam and created an ID until the last date of form submission. The applicant can log in and check/fill/edit the CAT application form anytime during the form-filling period. Only the phone number and email ID will not be editable once registration is complete.
