CAT admit card 2025 will be released on November 5. It will be available for download through login at the iimcat.ac.in website. CAT admit card is the main document of identification of registered candidates. It is thoroughly checked before allowing entry to any test taker. CAT 2025 will be held on November 30. Candidates must download their IIM CAT 2025 admit card as soon as it is released and check their test city and slot.
CAT 2025 Admit Card: Important Guidelines
Here are some important guidelines to note regarding the CAT admit card 2025:
- CAT 2025 admit card will be available for download through login only and till the exam day.
- Candidates are supposed to affix a recent passport size photo on their CAT 2025 admit card
- In case of any discrepancy in the information mentioned, candidates must get it rectified by calling IIM CAT help desk before the exam day.
- The admit card is to be carried to the examination hall. Digital copy will not be accepted as valid document.
- Damaged CAT 2025 admit card will not be accepted, as well.
- Candidates must carry two copies of their admit card to the CAT exam centre
- Along with the hall ticket, they are also supposed to carry 2 copies of their recent passport size photo.
- CAT admit card 2026 is session specific. Candidates can appear for CAT in the slot mentioned in their admit card, only. Test city, centre or slot cannot be changed.
- Reporting time will be mentioned in the CAT 2025 admit card. Candidates have to reach their test centre as per the reporting time.
- Candidates will have to carry a valid photo ID card for identification purpose. They need to carry an original copy of – Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID card, Passport or Driving License.
- PwD candidates who will need a scribe, will have to carry a scribe certificate attested by competent authority
- Those who have changed their name will have to carry an affidavit attested by competent authority
- Candidate with any specific medical condition will have to carry relevant document attested by competent authority
CAT admit card is not sent to any candidate by post. Every candidate has to download their CAT hall ticket from the IIMCAT website by using their login credentials created at the time of exam registration. The announcement of release of CAT admit card is done by the exam convening IIM about 10-15 days before the exam. The CAT admit card release date is also shared beforehand so that candidates can download their admit cards in time.
CAT admit card is released at the official website of the exam - iimcat. ac.in. The admit card can be downloaded until the exam day. Download the admit card by using the application number and password. The admit card download process is listed here:

2. Click on 'login' tab
3. Enter application number and password
4. Click on 'sign in'
5. Go to 'admit card' option reflecting on student dashboard
6. Click on the option to see your admit card
7. Click on 'save' option to download the CATadmit card
Candidates can download it for free any number of times until the CAT exam day. Candidates should preserve the CAT admit card until their admission to a management institute as it is an important document for student identification.
