IISER Tirupati made live the IISER 2025 online registration portal for the academic session 2025-26 today, March 10, 2025. Interested candidates can fill the online application form till April 15, 2025. IISERs offer admission into courses leading to BS-MS Dual Degree/ BS Degree (only at IISER Bhopal) and BTech Programmes.

Candidates seeking admission to IISER 2025 entrance exam must appear for a computer-based IISER Aptitude Test (IAT-2025). IAT-2025 will be conducted on May 25, 2025 at 9:00 AM, at various centres across the country. Before applying for the online registration process, it is advised for the interested candidates to go through the eligibility criteria carefully to not lose their candidature in the last.

How to Fill IISER Entrance Exam 2025 Application

Below is the process given for how to fill IISER 2025 online application form 

  • Step 2: Click on online register link.
  • Step 3: Fill up the details asked in application form correctly.
  • Step 4: Upload scanned images as per the instructions mentioned.
  • Step 5: Pay the application fees through payment gateway provided.
  • Step 6: Submit application form and take its printout.

IISER Entrance Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria 

Before applying for IISER entrance exam 2025 online application form candidates must go through the eligibility criteria which is provided here:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) exam with science stream in 2022 or 2025 from any board recognized by Council of Boards of School Education in India COBSE. 
  • Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) exam.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD should have scored a minimum of 55 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class 12 (or equivalent) exam. Candidates belonging to other categories should have scored a minimum of 60 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class 12 (or equivalent) exam.

IISER Entrance Exam 2025 Application Fee

IISER entrance exam 2025 application fee for various categories are as follows:

  •  INR 2,000/- for candidates applying under General, EWS and OBC-NCL categories. 
  •  INR 1,000/- for candidates applying under persons with disabilities, persons registered as Kashmiri migrants and SC/ST category. 
  • INR 8,500 for foreign nationals. 
  •  Application fee is non-refundable.
Q:   Does IISER have an age limit?
A:
No, there is no such age limit, but you can not take admission if you passed your school 3 years before the admission date, unless you go through the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced. Students should have qualified in the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced in the year 2022 and should have a rank within 15000 in the common merit list for General and Other Backward Class or in the respective category rank lists General-EWS, Other Backward Class-Non Creamy Layer, Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, and PwD. In IISER form, I selected 10th or 12th admit card or certificate as identity document. What number should be filled? Is it Roll Number or Certificate Number or some other number appearing on the top of page?
