How to apply for IISER 2027 Entrance Exam

The authority will release the IAT 2027 eligibility criteria online. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for the minimum conditions required to appear for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT). Candidates must have passed the Class XII or equivalent level examination in 2025, 2026 or 2027 from any board recognised by the Council of Boards of School Education in India.
Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics during their Class 12 Board exam or equivalent.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories are required to score a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade in their Class 12 Board or equivalent examination. NOTE: The students from the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE), from Kashmir division/Winter Zone areas of Jammu division and the U.T. of Ladakh, who had appeared in their Class 12 Board or equivalent level examination in 2022, will also be eligible to apply for the IAT 2027, provided they satisfy the other eligibility criteria.
